I came here to shed some light on my point of view and share how I have perceived things go. Debates are a formal and informal way of the public and political to see the sides of arguments that frankly, never get heard without another trying to scream it into your ear. It's the only way people can suggest thoughts the conservative and progressive don't think about. Also, quite possibly don't look up either. I've been an objective person all my life, and up until the last three years I've been Democratic all my life as well. By saying this I know lots of people stopped reading and started judging. Still, for the remaining four of you, there is a number of you that believe that I like debates. Friends, I like debates.... no... Friends, I LOVE DEBATES. I love shouting battles, I love arguments, I love disagreements, verbal fights, flame wars, I love treating battles and contention. Debates at home, in the mall, at the liquor store, in school, with liberals, with political figures, with my parents, and my cousins and friends. I love every act of it that can occur upon this Earth. The reason for this is because it'd be pretty boring to know everyone and anyone you'd meet would think and act like you. To know there is difference means there's wonder in the world and there's more than one way to the main goal. The pure idea of any type of fight in the world and in history, is difference of opinion. Yet, any and all progress made to the world and throughout history is also, difference of opinion. The difference between the two, is that those with opposing thoughts that make changes. They actually see through that a point can be made and that there is a way to change what should be. Unlike the latter that don't want to look for way to change things only to say what is wrong and cast blame. It's almost impossible to have a debate now and have it not be reduced to name-calling or cyber bullying. It's nearly maddening, then I turn on my game system and remember that I was no better when I was a defending liberal idealists. I now draw my logic from professionals that did the studies and deducing by reasoning which ones truly apply by reconfirming the results in real time. Social experiments like helping a lost boy, or trying to save a girl from being kidnapped, giving money to someone who needs it. These I couldn't do, well except the asking money one. Understanding people is a step towards wisdom. Understanding yourself, however, is a step towards enlightenment. Knowing why I stand where I do, and what that means to me. I don't preach to who I know one that won't listen, I don't waste my time trying to convince those not willing to be convinced. And that goes for anybody I meet. I have a feeling that this will get closed, banned or something of the like. Yet it needs to be said, GET OFF YOUR MIGHTY HIGH HORSE!!! Gays, Liberals, Trans-people and the rest.... I wouldn't waste my time trying to hate you, most people don't. Even though many people keep shouting it, it's not true. I pity people like that, because most are so lost they don't even know who they are. Now-a-days we've got girl trying to be boys, boys trying to become girls, grown men trying to be little girls, and grown women trying to be cats. It made no sense to me, I'm a black, 24 year old, geek-otaku, without a cent to my name. Yet, I was called "privileged", "coon" and "homophobic", and they say it at the drop of a hat like it disputes my point. Gays and trans-people got more rights in society than they ever did in history. I myself experimented throughout my life, I sucked off guys and rode some more till morning. There's not much to gay living to me except irresponsible relationships. Not saying all are like that, it's just my experiences so calm the freak down. My own cousin is gay, I don't deny him as a person or as a part of my family. How about instead of me causing a "hate-crime", ya'll are just too sensitive to reason or some of ya'll are just jerks. I just wish I could speak my mind without bias crowds of people either silencing me... Bet, ya'll this will get get me banned. I know for a fact folk will start PMing me all kinds of bad luck, ill will, and death. Leaving the most dumbest of replies, congradu-****in-lations ya'll ruined debating for me.

Oh... you made it to the end, thank you. I don't mean to hurt you or anybody but somethings need to be said, I mean some don't even know what the guy next you is thinking. To me, words save lives, speaking to a troubled man with death on the brain may stop him from shooting up that school down the street.. It could've saved that one cute emo girl next door from taking her life. Debates saved me from making the worse decision of my life to live with my best friends who were arrested for holding and selling child pornography two weeks later. Debates are what we can use to change the minds of others, so why stop the other side from speaking? Truly open your minds to opinion, you might hear an option you never knew that was on the table.

You wanna talk about debates or you want a debate? Which's it.

I'm just frustrated about what happened to me irl. I wanted to talk about debates I just gave up and started to rant. It is still something true though, It's always hard to talk about things without it getting out of hand. I'm just saying, most of us are of adult ages, why can't we debate, solve problems like adults?

When we grow up physically, sometimes the mind doesnt follow through. Probably why. You see many adults acting like children and mid-teenagers manning up like grown ups. It's the brain pattern probably, differing from people to people.
