Many of the members here say Sasori is not top 10, or 15 material. You are wrong. Every Akatsuki member got beat by Plot no Jutsu except Konan. Sasori was the biggest Plot no Jutsu defeat too date. It was utterly pathetic. Kakashi and Naruto should have beat him, but I will quit ranting about that.
1.) He IS immune to genjutsu, as of now. We cannot assume he can get caught in a genjutsu yet. He has no brain, and the only organ he has is his heart. When he gets caught in a genjutsu, then you can tell me I am wrong.
2.) He has 298 Puppets, each with their own KKG's and chakra. These puppets are armed with poison only Sakura has the antidote for, and she would need prep time too make them. Most of the puppets have swords, knives, and other sharp objects soaked in poison. That poison affects anything as of now, even Orochimaru. Even if the poison would not kill him (which it should), it would paralyse him.
3.) He has the strongest Kazekage in his arsenal. Iron Sand > Regular Sand. Iron Sand can attract other metal objects like Kunai, Katana, or FTG Kunai. It is weak too nothing except a very, very, very hot flame. Iron Sand is also soaked in the poison, which means 1 scratch KO's. 3rd Kazekage > Gaara, which would have too mean Sasori > Gaara.
4.) He can switch out his heart into 296 other puppets. Hiruko and the 3rd Kazekage puppet are the only puppets he may not be able to transfer his heart into. Even if someone Amaterasu's the puppet, the fire would burn slowly and Sasori could switch into a different puppet. Since people would not have intel on this, Sasori would kill mostly anyone after they have destroyed one of his puppets. As they would be walking away from the battle, a new puppet with Sasori's heart in it could stab the opponent with a poisoned weapon. Good Game.
5.) Intellegence. Sasori is very smart. He may not be as smart as Minato or Itachi, but he is definatly up there. Making the poison he made would have too prove very difficult, seeing as how Sakura thought making an antidote for it was difficult. She is a great medical ninja so do not bash her medical capabilities. Making human puppets is very difficult also, and seeing as how Sasori has 298, he must have some smarts. I do believe he scored a 5 in intelligence in the Databook.
6.) He has Water and Fire release scrolls that require no chakra too use. That means he can counter Wind based techniques with his Fire, and Fire base techniques with his Water. His water technique was so strong, it blew up some pretty big rocks.
7.) Manipulation of Iron Sand. He can do whatever he wants with his Iron Sand, pretty much like what Gaara does with his regular sand. Seeing as how he is an artist, I bet he is pretty imaginative. He could get on the Iron Sand and fly around, can trap someone in it, etc. Anything he wants.
8.) He solo'd a nation. Not many people do that. That is automatic top 20.
