Izanagi can alter reality at the cost of Itachi's eyes. It is also only active for the briefest moments, unless you are claiming Itachi has Hashirama's cells. i fail to see how anything you just said will help Itachi in this fight. All it takes is a speed of light blitz to kill Itachi (exaggeration, since much less is actually required) and Galactus is faster than the speed of light.

It's 7 days and 7 nights, which is interpreted as 7 full days since the 'day' is referred to as morning-afternoon while evening-midnight is considered 'night'. You can interpret this quite easily from here

which should show this to be true. However, I believe this is a hyperbole, where Kishi tries to base the manga completely off of Mythology. Amateratsu is the Goddess of the sun=ama is as hot as the sun.
7 nights and 7 days is also a hyperbole, as their is no reason to state night and day other than to add mythology to the db. Amateratsu was mad at tsukoyomi, and ended up labelling tsukoyomi as an evil god; this separated night from day. So I see Kishi separating night from day here, even though it doesn't add any significance.

i already countered it, izanami is a pair with izanagi which is a reality altering genjutsu so izanami too will be a reality altering genjutsu, izanami decides destiny and the destiny of the victim is in itachi's hands so he decides everything whether it will be a mind genjutsu or reality altering genjutsu

i can also list all of itachis' powers, galactus has eyes and will likely commit the same mistake like others, plus he has energy like chakra so he is not immune to getting cintrolled

he wouldnt need to be immune because he can just kill itachi with a thought. the heroes of marvel have stated multiple times galactus could kill them all with a wave of his hand if he ever felt like it
and do you think itachis the first person to try and mindrape a hundred billion year old cosmic god planet eater? no one has EVER succeeded. thanos and professor x couldnt do shit. and they are millions of times above itachis level of illusions and telepathy.
and galactus doesnt look the same to everyone. the purple giant is jsut how humans chose to percieve him in the marvel world. so itachis perception of galactus might be a big ball of energy. no eyes to target. also galactus has mindreading so he would know all of itachis powers before itachi can even realise what happened.
galactus is literaly billions of times faster than itachis thought processes anyway.

izanami is useless. even if itachi has the time to try and set it up, which he won't, galactus is not delusional. hes an essential part of the universe. he knows exactly who he is and what his purpose is
