I sold three of them for $5. But this was November of 2013, when it started.

This is likely another round of betas.

I was going to be a part of it, but I have a mac, and they released the PC beta test first (it seemed like they temporarily completely forgot about mac). When they finally released the Mac beta (around a month later or so) I had heard so many bad things about it I didn't even bother playing.

My first guess is that they've made some big changes in light of negative fan reactions.
