Ok, before we carry on, do you know how the strengths and weaknesses of the Lightning element work on against the other elements?

Yes, I do. Lightning is weak against wind because wind is a electrical insulator. Lightning is strong against earth because lightning can easily break through it. Lightning has a special relationship with water because water is an electrical conductor which means that Suiton jutsu can be used to augment the power of Raiton jutsu and vice-versa.

A-rank Lightning = S-rank Earth.
A-rank Lightning > A-rank Earth and it'd continue towards the opponent at a weakened rank of B.

So for an Earth jutsu to cancel out a Lightning jutsu, it must be one rank higher.

As for weakness:

A-rank Wind = S-rank Lightning.
A-rank Wind > A-rank Lightning, and the Wind would continue at a weakened rank of B.

Lightning is not strong nor weak against Water and Fire, and so, using lightning wouldn't be a valid way of defending against a Fire or water jutsu, since it'd go straight through it. (and the water would get electrocuted, dealing you more damage). Of course, this doesn't mean Lightning can't be used in a combination with both Fire and Water.

You've already explained how Lightning can be used to augment the power of Raiton jutsus, but you could also use it in combination with Fire jutsus because Lightning and Fire jutsus are known to just go straight through each other, which is why one is never used to defend against the other. Although, there is one A-ranked Fire jutsu which has a solid presence, so it behaves different, but your Fire teacher will explain that to you.

Description: The user surrounds themselves with electricity. The intense electric field protects them by electrocuting anyone who comes into contact with it, but only works for one attack.

The next jutsu is quite terrain specific, so we need to change up the terrain a little. *Performs Earth Rampart technique to grow a large pillar of Earth from the ground in front* Alright, now I want you to focus your chakra at your feet and begin to run up on the pillar, however, whilst running up, I need you to perform the Snake and Upside down tiger handseals.

Once you've done the hand seals, you use your Lightning chakra to release a wave of electrical energy at the section of the rampar which is just above you, causing the rocks in that area to become dislodged and rain down past you, and at the opponent who may be running behind you or below at ground level.

Give me a simple advantage and disadvantage about this jutsu as well as any questions that you may have.

Arashi focuses chakra into his feet and starts to run up the pillar. While he is running up, he performs the Snake and upside down Tiger handseals. After doing this, he releases a wave of Raiton chakra into the section of the pillar above him dislodging the rocks and causing them to rain past him.

Advantage:
If the rocks hit then they could crush the opponent

Disadvantage:
The opponent can see the rocks coming down and has time to avoid/block them

The biggest disadvantage here is that the jutsu is extremely situational, meaning you can't use it unless you're running up a mountain or something similar.

(Raiton: Iwa Nadare) - Lightning Style: Stone Avalanche

Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Descripton: By forming hand seals Snake → Upside down Tiger → Hands clapped together and running up a cliff face, the user causes stone and rock above him to become dislodged and rain down past him onto his opponents below by releasing a wave of electrical energy. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done uphill of a mountain for it to work.

Now, for the next jutsu you need to focus chakra in your hand and raise it upwards, in front of you. Once it starts glowing a pale yellow colour because of the amount of Lightning chakra channelled into it, I want you to release all of the Lightning chakra within it whilst using shape manipulation to cause the lightning bolts released to be in the shape of a horn which spreads outwards, covering a large enough area which allows it to attack multiple targets.

Advantage:
The horn covers a wide area, which means that you can attack multiple targets and it will be harder to defend against.

Disadvantage
The opponent would see your glowing hand and then shoot a jutsu at you in defense.


Question: Why does your hand glow yellow?

Question: Why does your hand glow yellow?

It's part of the jutsu. I'm guessing it's because of the Lightning chakra build up in a specific area of the body. Also, I'd like more detailed descriptions from now on, otherwise I'll have to make you re-do them.

Description: The user will raise their hand infront of them like a sword and it will begin glowing a pale yellow before releasing bolts of lightning in the shapt of a horn that spread outwards allowing it to attack multiple targets.

Now, we're going to do things slightly differently for the next 'set' of jutsus. For the first one you'll need this.

-Throws you a Katana-

I need you to focus your Lightning chakra into the Katana and give it properties of the Lightning element, meaning it should be sharper and have greater cutting capabilities. To test that, simply carve into that boulder over there.

-Points at random boulder behind you-

Once you think you have mastered that area of the jutsu, I need you to use the chakra within the Katana to levitate it in front of you. Once you have managed to do that, you're required to add even more chakra and multiply the sword, creating two extra physical copies which you can levitate and manipulate to fly and cut whatever you wish them to.

When you're able to make the copies and control them properly, I want you to use them to attack me.

Arashi catches the katana after it flies through the air, then turns around. He closes his eyes and forms lightning chakra in hi body. He then channels it into the blade, enveloping it in the bright lightning chakra. He sprints forward to the random boulder his senpai pointed at. He raises the katana above his head, performing a downwards vertical slash on the boulder, leaving a deep mark on it. Arashi realizes what he did wrong. He puts more Raiton chakra into the sword, increasing it's cutting power even further. Trying again, he performs a horizontal slash on the boulder, slicing it in half. He then uses the chakra inserted into the blade to make it levitate in the air. After doing this, he imbues even more chakra into the katana, multiplying it. This creates two physical copies of the blade. Because the swords contain his chakra, Arashi can control and manipulate them to his will. He sends them flying at Erzo to attack him.

Advantage:
The user can control the direction that the blades move in.

Disadvantage:
The blades could be countered by wind blades.

( Raiton: Inazuma ken Fudou ) - Lightning Release: Lightning Blades Levitation

Type: Offensive
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user will channel their lightning chakra into their sword to increase its cutting capabilities, and then levitate it in front of them. They will then multiply the sword creating two extra physical copies which are then all manipulated to spin rapidly and are controlled to fly towards and cut through the opponent/s.

Above is jutsu you've learned.

One thing to add is, when sending the swords to attack an opponent, describe how they attack the opponent. Detail can make a big difference, for example, you can make them attack from the opponents left and right side, so that the opponent doesn't simply use one jutsu frontal jutsu to blow them both away without even stressing.

For the next jutsu, channel your chakra in your dominant arm and generate electrical bolts of Lightning around your forearm, before jumping into the air and landing back down onto the ground, slamming your palm onto the ground as you do so, sending bolts of lightning into the ground short range around you (5 meters).

You can use this jutsu for many reasons, for example you can use it to cancel out other C-rank jutsus which may be in the ground or the opponent who may be hiding underneath the ground, etc etc.

One tip though, jumping in battle is quite disadvantageous, so don't use this unless you're already in the air or something, or unless you find the perfect opportunity.

After listening to his senpai's orders, Arash bends his knees, then leaps into the air and starts to channel chakra into his right arm (his dominant arm). Then he turns it into Raiton chakra, creating bolts of lightning in his arm. When he falls to the the ground, Arashi slams his arm into the ground, sending a shockwave of lightning bolts five metres around him.

Advantage:
The opponent might think you are going to attack from the air

Disadvantage
You could get attacked while you're in the air.
