The episode ends after the school gets destroyed, saying that they need to clean up their mess or something. It was pretty boring/average.

Only interesting thing was the preview for the next episode:

Mitsuki is very cold to the citizens of Konohagakure
There is a connection between the beast, Mitsuki, and Boruto's Dojutsu, at least in terms of the dialogue based on the preview but it isn't 100% clear.

Honestly, yeah it may seem boring, but I kinda enjoyed it tbh. I'm enjoying the whole anime series matter of fact. It sets a different mood to the story instead of that nonstop action stuff that happened in part 2 for 200+ episodes. But we all know how SP are with forced BS :lol

Also don't bother even with 123filler lmao. He's a true fanboy at heart and will eat up anything naruto related.

Are they skipping Mitsuki gaiden too? I mean I thought that would be mitsukis introduction episode. They could always come back to it later like when they skipped kakashi gaiden (which series wise was the inbetween part 1 and part 2) and put it right around Obito revealing his sharingan to Kakashi and Naruto (around Itachis death)

I suppose they could use it right after Mitsuki uses sage mode for the first time and then cut to flash back to show the gaiden.
