[Spoilers] episode 61 db super trunks

Trunks his transformation looks like a mix between two transformations.
At least lookswise.

The first one is the LSSJ that Broly had (no pupils, buffed yet not sluggish).
The other one is SSJ blue but in this case a yellow version.
As trunks his aura now has the shape that SSJ blue aura has.
SSJblue is blue on outside and yellow on inside.
Trunks had yellow on outside and blue on inside.

Vegeta must be proud.

Really great to see Trunks take the stage now and especially the way how he is taking the stage.

What is your view on his transformation?

Maybe he also has a bit the look of a false ssj.
Like Goku vs lord Slug.

Or at least play a leading role in it.

Besides Goku also had moment of awesome in this episode.

The Zamasu tell Goku how they killed his family.
Goku powers up and goes uber badass mode and seems to outperform Black and Zamasu.
Kicks Black into a building and does instant transmission to Zamasu with his back to him
and punches him in the face backwards nonchalantly.

Really at that time a pair of shades should have landed on his nose with the text ''like a boss'' and ''deal with it'' .

I really like Trunks' new form and I hope it stays unique like this. Developing into SS Blue would be lame, the god-stuff should continue to be exclusive to Goku and Vegeta. It must not turn into something as common as super-saiyan was in DBZ.

come on dbz charceters always get stronger via emotions, if goku had taken his shirt off black would have been one shotted since that is the other way saiyans power up

maybe if it was white to show his Human side, Since human's like seem to have a white aura in the Z anime if i remember right.

The aura shape is like SSJblue aura
and not like the SSJ1,2 and 3 auras.

Also his pupils dont show.
He is bulky but not sluggish (unlike his ultra ssj bulky sluggish form).

And where SSJblue has yellow on the inside and blue on the outside and the hair,
trunks his form has blue on the inside and yellow on the outside and the hair.

So its sorta a reverse.

having no pupils means nothing this is a common technique in dragonball ect to show rage goku when he first turned sjj aswell as vegeta.. broly has no pupils because in his Lssj form he is always enraged... no pupils have nothing to do with the form it's just to show us trunks is enraged

You are talking about his aura and other extra effects added by the transformation. I am talking about his overall look with the hair. We have seen blue aura before. We have seen eyes having no pupils. Its nothing completly new.

The individuel look parts are nothing new (blue aura, yellow aura, eyes with no pupils etc.),
however we havent seen these same individual parts together the way they are in trunks his latest transformation.

Vegeta said in DB super that Gohan has the most latent potential of all of them.
So at least Gohan got acknowledged for his potential. That is sorta cool.

Gohan has decided to train with Piccolo again (or did he take a break from that already ?) so who knows if we see him relevant in battle again.

To be honest I wish it was a completly new transformation that had nothing to do with the old ones thats just me.

I looking at this in a video game perspective. I would want a Trunks with a newer look than the same look as Super Sayain two.
