Episode 51: Shanks vs Vegeta!

I will be using my Shanks biography, post yours and decide who makes the first move.

We will be fighting at Mr Popos

Shanks was sailing around when he spotted a massive landmass seemingly floating in the sky off in the distance. Leaping from the deck, he would call on the Nine Arts Dragon to propel him through the air as he ran at a high pace towards the top of the deck. On arrival, an intricate palace was revealed to him alo with a sole spiky haired macho man training away. His power was impressive, the urge to fight overcame Shanks. Crouched behind a rather small tree, he took a swig of Gin and left his awful cover whilst replacing the booze into his shirt. He would make his presence known to the short muscleman while calling out to him.

"Hey, you got enough hair gel to last a fight with me?"

The retorts purpose was to antagonize, and Shanks would wait for a response.

Description: Using this technique the user can passively create bursts of wind at any time, any specific point on the users body. This technique is mainly used to physically evade most techniques with the help of the wind chakra. Also by the choice of the user, they can send their wind chakra to their feet to have the ability to propel their self to any point they want, forwards, backwards, left, or right if the user chooses, that being said, if they want to change another direction they would have to re-use this technique again.

As punched the air furiously while jogging in place, the life force he sensed finally came out from the bush it thought he was hiding behind, but Vegeta knew he was there while he was still ascending to the look out, having sensed him well before his approach...hence his warming up...
Took you long enough to get here, I was actually getting bored of warming up waiting for you..

(Za Kindachi Kyuui) The Kings Peace

Description: Thousands of years ago, there was a lone some village in the Land of Eki, where all the villagers to a vow of peace. Never to fight even if their own life is endangered, the only exception was the protection of family and loved ones. Kids were taught this from an early age, meditation was also practiced at minimum 4 times a day to keep everyone at one with themselves. Within this village were great craftsmen throughout out all the land, that made tools with the heart for defending. Other bigger Villages and tribes with well over a thousand people wanted these craftsmen and their creations to in attempt to become rulers of the entire land of Eki. The village hidden in Ketsueki, the biggest in all the land and by far the most powerful, came to the lone village destroying everyones homes and killing the people of the village in search for the craftsmen and what they seen as "weapons". One of the Five craftsmen gave his son a pair of Gold earrings with what appears to have aqua colored diamonds[from chakra being stored within them] after the son put the earring on they became one with him. The intruders eventually found the last craftsman and his family hiding within a tunnel built under their home, each being pulled and executed, the son being the last one pulled from the tunnel, when they tried to kill him a barrier of chakra appeared reflecting thier jutsu. This son with the only tools ever found, made by the legendary craftsmen , after 20 years went on to become King of all the land of Eki, finally bringing Peace. The earrings became known as "The Kings Peace", and their abilities are known to Block and/or Reflect nearly anything threatening the holder.

Note: The earrings can activate without the holders awareness but will always cost a move and drain proportional chakra to the technique defended from, preventing the user from molding his chakra at the same time for another technique.
Note: Only works with offensive Ninjutsu techniques (elemental or not) travelling towards the user.
Note: Blocking [right earring] is the ability through which the earings bring forth a shield of chakra, shy of 50cm from the user, in the path of an incoming technique, just enough to block it from damaging the wearer and Reflection[left earring] is the ability to bring forth a dampening shield of chakra, in the path of an incoming technique, which diverts the attack's path and sends it back towards its origin, albeit weaker by half (B-Rank becomes C-Rank for example).
Note: Each ability can only be used once every 3 turns and can only defend against up to B-Rank. By sacrificing the ability to reuse one of the applications, the user is able to forcefully will the earings to defend from a technique up to S-Rank. However, in this case, that application becomes unusable for the rest of the match and they need conscious control from the user to perform said defense.
Note: Have to be taught how to use the earrings abilities by Smirk(Stussy)

Shanks would start by placing Vegeta in an illusion where a flowerbud would erupt to bind him. After the bud forms, it would explode within the illusion to cause mental damage to you. Following the illusions placement, two pillars would form from the earth, one shortly after the other. The first one would be wide enough to hold Vegetas foot and would rise quick enough to throw him off balance. The second one would be much thinner and would pop out of ground to deliver a humiliating blow to the Saiyans forehead as he was thrown due to the first pillar. The illusion would eliminate Vegetas sight and the erupting pillars would further disorient.

( Magen: Hanarasui ) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death

Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

As flower buds emerge, Vegeta knows they couldn't possibly have grown through the concrete slabs of the lookout floor. Clearly an illusion. Making 2 seals before the flower buds could envelope him and could explode, he releases an unfocused blast of raiton chakra that would disrupt his chakra flow and break the illusion while carrying onwards towards his opponent hitting him. If he continues with his earth pillars they would easily be decimated in the process while he was shocked quite badly. Vegeta has raiton as a specialty, so besides the warm up making his chakra flow easier and increasing his reactions, molding the chakra took almost no time at all...
(Raiton: raikou myaku) Lightning Release: Lightning pulse

Chakra Cost: 40 ( 50 If charges for 2 moves)
Damage Points: 80 (90 If charged for 2 moves)+10+5=95
Description: The user will make one handseal charging their raiton chakra and then forms another handseal which then releases a massive amount of electricity from their body. The amount of electricity that's released is based on how much raiton chakra they have charged. For instance, if the user charges it using enough chakra for two moves then the user can only use one more jutsu for that turn. But, will gain an extra rank in power. If Charged with enough chakra for two moves, this jutsu will release a massive amount of non focused electricity from the users body into the air and ground capable of destroying everything on the field and leaving a small crater in the ground around the user. The amount of chakra doesn't take more than a few seconds to charge since it's almost forced from the users body. If only charged for one move then it will release non focused electricity into the air and ground around around the user and opponent and will reach out to mid range.

Notes:

-No Raiton for the next turn if charged for Forbidden Rank.
-No A rank Raiton for the next turn if charged for only S rank.
-If charged for forbidden rank the user takes 20 damage due to the strain on the users body.
-No ninjutsu on the next turn just elemental jutsu.
-The electricity has enough amps and current to kill.
-Charging of 1 move = S rank rank.
-Charging of 2 moves = Forbidden Rank.
All these squares make a circle..

Vegeta was in the process of releasing a massive outburst of chakra and Shanks wasn't planning on getting flattened by it. Two long and sharp bone tendrils would shoot out of his wrists. Remembering the structure of their fighting ground and also Vegetas position, Shanks would turn and flick his left wrist towards the edge of the platform to sink the tendril onto its ledge. The tendril would retract to pull Shanks over the platforms edge and out of Vegetas sight; over the ledge Shanks would now direct his right wrist up to latch onto the bottom of the fighting platform so he didn't fall. Swinging up to land on the bottom, Shanks would channel chakra to his feet to anchor himself and continue to weave a quick set of seals. The result of the seals would be the platform Would fall into a domino affect where it would start to crumble and break apart.

With the platform breaking apart, Shanks would initiate the ritual to summon one of his turtles bestowed upon him. The Trailblazer Kame would now poof into the battlefield under Shanks to serve as his mount and break the impending fall. As Vegeta is left airborne Shanks would wait for a move as agreed protected him from the falling debris.

Shikotsumyaku: Futago no Churippu Ha|Dead Bone Pulse: Twin Tulip Teeth
Type: Offensive/Supplementary

Range: Short
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: A technique developed by the kaguyas utilizing the ulna bone in each arm. Mimicking the skeletal structure of the clematis vine, the user manipulates the skeletal structure of each forearm bone to extend out of the forearm where the palm and wrist meet. Each 'tendril' that is extended from the arm is identical to the clematis vine, with segmented portions of 2inches in length with a connecting joint and small spikes capable of extension on contact if the user maintains the physical link. However, these tendrils are not as wide as the clematis vine and each one maintains a width of 2inches and has more of a rounded structure for increased flexibility. The tendrils do not occupy the hands and are connected at the wrist and palm. They can be extended up to mid-range and the user is capable of detaching as many segments as he wishes but to re-extend them costs a move. The purpose of this technique is to use the flexible tendrils for lashing, restricting and certain supplementary uses.

(Doton: Iwayado Kuzushi) - Earth Style: Rock Lodging Destruction

Description: The user performs the required hand seals Tiger → Rat → Snake and they then causes a cave-in by destroying the equilibrium that holds the cave together. Just removing a single vital stone throws off the balance of the cave, making it unexpectedly fragile and causing a domino effect that destroys the entire cave. The shinobi from Iwagakure use this technique in their pride tactic, luring several enemies into a cave to kill them all at once.

(Kuchiyose: Kame) - Greed

As Shanks pulls himself towards the ledge Vegeta rushes forwards towards him while he takes note of Shanks positioning by sensing his life force. As he lands on the bottom of the lookout Vegeta releases a small amount of water from the moisture in the air around him coating him in a layer of water, restricting his limbs from moving and making his seals for his earth jutsu while simultaneosly the water around his throat squeezes tight attempting to strangle him, the water that has formed over his head begins forcing it's way down his nostrils and mouth trying to asphyxiate him as well. Vegeta made all this happen by carefully controlling his suiton chakra that was in the water..
(Suiton: Mizu Sattou) Water release: Water Rush

Description: The user releases a small amount of water from the moisture in the air and can then control the water that is created. The user can create and control the water created up to mid range in distance. The amount of water created is enough to fill a small bath tub and only lasts for one turn. However this source of water isnt great enough to create S rank level water techniques.
Notes:
- Can only be used 3x per battle.
- Must skip one turn before using again
- The water can only be controlled up to one turn
- Can only use water jutsu while controlling the water or until you release the water from your control.
Vegeta nears the edge of the ledge, passively sprouting large wings out his back as he makes 2 seals molding more suiton chakra, creating a basketball sized orb that hoovers near him..
(Suiton: Mune no sono) - Water Release: Will of the Deep
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 40 (+15 per turn)
Damage: 80
Description: The user will focus their chakra and form the Boar>Dog handseals and create a (basketball sized) orb of water that floats in the air next to them, within short range. The main purpose of this technique focuses upon the creators next use of a projectile technique or a technique that originates from them and moves towards the opponent. For when this occurs the orb of water will release a simple blast of water that is B ranked, this blast of water will combine with and accompany the technique that the creator used if it is compatible. It will continue to do this for each compatible technique that the user employs automatically, until it is destroyed or dispersed(A separate +20 chakra cost is applied for each blast.) This technique will take a small constant toll on the users chakra to replenish itself with water as it is being used. Compatible techniques are in general techniques that originate from or close by to the user and travel towards the opponent and can be used with all elements excluding fire and those based on fire if they meet these requirements. Anything which would be weakened by the water or vice versa (anything that weakens the water) are considered incompatible.

Note:
~The orb can release a maximum of 4 separate blasts
~The orb is created short range but the blasts can reach up to long range
~Lasts 3 turns before dispersing
~Can only be used 2 times
~Cannot use water techniques above A rank while this is active
~Can only be taught by xHoudinii
He then flys off the edge of the lookout, making 3 seals he releases water towards the restrained Shanks, the orb releasing an additional blast that joins in forming a powerful water vortex around him that normally would be enough to knock a man unconscious, but with his enhancements to the attack it could possible kill him if the water choking him and forcing its way into his lungs didn't first..
(Suiton: Mizu no Tatsumaki) - Water Release: Tornado of Water

Type: Attack/Defence/Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage Points: 60+40+10+5=115
Description: After performing the Ram → Horse → Bird the user is able to create a technique that utilizes water to create a spinning water vortex around the user. The water vortex acts both as a barrier and an attack mechanism. The power of the vortex is enough to knock an opponent unconscious.

As Shanks pulls himself towards the ledge Vegeta rushes forwards towards him while he takes note of Shanks positioning by sensing his life force. As he lands on the bottom of the lookout Vegeta releases a small amount of water from the moisture in the air around him coating him in a layer of water, restricting his limbs from moving and making his seals for his earth jutsu while simultaneosly the water around his throat squeezes tight attempting to strangle him, the water that has formed over his head begins forcing it's way down his nostrils and mouth trying to asphyxiate him as well. Vegeta made all this happen by carefully controlling his suiton chakra that was in the water..

Description: The user will focus their chakra and form the Boar>Dog handseals and create a (basketball sized) orb of water that floats in the air next to them, within short range. The main purpose of this technique focuses upon the creators next use of a projectile technique or a technique that originates from them and moves towards the opponent. For when this occurs the orb of water will release a simple blast of water that is B ranked, this blast of water will combine with and accompany the technique that the creator used if it is compatible. It will continue to do this for each compatible technique that the user employs automatically, until it is destroyed or dispersed(A separate +20 chakra cost is applied for each blast.) This technique will take a small constant toll on the users chakra to replenish itself with water as it is being used. Compatible techniques are in general techniques that originate from or close by to the user and travel towards the opponent and can be used with all elements excluding fire and those based on fire if they meet these requirements. Anything which would be weakened by the water or vice versa (anything that weakens the water) are considered incompatible.

He then flys off the edge of the lookout, making 3 seals he releases water towards the restrained Shanks, the orb releasing an additional blast that joins in forming a powerful water vortex around him that normally would be enough to knock a man unconscious, but with his enhancements to the attack it could possible kill him if the water choking him and forcing its way into his lungs didn't first..

While the targets are trapped in the water, their chakra will slowly be drained away. The water vortex can be sustained and controlled for up to two turns as long as the user keeps the dog hand seal made

Notes:
- The user can move freely on the water drops.
- Must know my "Jeet Kun Do" in order to perform this as it allows you to move a limb in the blink of an eye

Not wasting a moment after hearing the screech, Shanks would change the structures weight to a mere feather. Pushing with his legs, the structure would quickly change positions and tilt towards the same ledge where much of the battle was concentrated. This would surely cause Vegeta to lose balance as the rapid displacement of the terrain would cause his technique to miss regardless of its widespread nature. In a move that the Tsuchikage himself would envy, Shanks of the Kaguya clan would clench his fist into a tri-finger strike and channel a massive amount of Doton chakra into it. Right after the structure is offset by Shanks, he would drive this fist into the bottom of the platform while making his fist as heavy as possible the moment before impact. This would trigger an explosion of power through the platform that would blast the entire thing away from Shanks as he now also fell in an opposite direction of the platform. Shanks strike would focus on the bottom of the platform and aim it to where the concentrated blast would erupt in Vegetas general location relevant to the noise of the Chidori and his action of tilting the terrain.

As the lookout tilts towards him, Vegeta aim is thrown off y the ground under his feet suddenly moving towards him. As he hurries and manipulates the ground beneath his feet connecting them to the surface and hardening and dislodging the ground just below, making 4 inch deep "platform shoes" as he runs up the tilting lookout reaching short range of Shanks. Suddenly a rumble occurs as the lookout is splintered by the might of Shanks punch, prompting Vegeta to dive bomb straight at Shanks with a jumping side kick, covering his face to protect from the debris and adding weight to the earth on his feet to increase the damage as he blasts straight thru the rubble and attempts to hit Shanks in the face with the hardened earth stuck to his boots..

Description: By molding doton chakra to their feet, the user releases it below each foot manipulating the ground just below each one, about 4 inches deep in the exact shape of their shoes/boots/whatever they are wearing or their bare feet. As they do so, they use the chakra to stick each foot to this section of ground while also dislodging the piece of earth, manipulating it hardening it's consistency to stone like. When the user lifts their feet, they will have the earth stuck to the bottom and can strike with kicks or walk/run/stand with the earth remaining connected to their feet.
