Episode 418 Summary

命が尽きかけているサスケの元に辿りついた香燐たち。しかしサスケの傍には謎の人物が佇んでいて…。一方、マダラと戦うカカシたちの元にはガイが駆けつけた。六道の力を得たマダラには仙術か体術による物理ダメージしか通用しない。仙術を使えるミナトが両腕を失い戦う事ができない今、体術を使うガイが八門遁甲を解放してマダラに突撃する！しかし、第七驚門までの体術ではマダラには効かない。そこでガイは八門遁甲最後の“死門”を開ける決意をし…。

Short Summary: In the beginning it talks about the Sasuke/Kabuto stuff from chapter 667. Gai is explained that only physical attacks will work, so Guy decides to open the 7th gate. After the 7th gate is useless, Gai decides to opens the 8th gate of death *end of summary*

Actually it still isn't clear. It only says he "decides to open the 8th gate". That actually happens right before the flashback even starts.

The normal thing with summaries is that they only describe the first half of the episode, so I think it is only talking about the things that happen before the flashback section of the episode.

Actually it still isn't clear. It only says he "decides to open the 8th gate". That actually happens right before the flashback even starts.

The normal thing with summaries is that they only describe the first half of the episode, so I think it is only talking about the things that happen before the flashback section of the episode.

It will, acording to the preview, at the very least go up till the end of the flashback so it's possible that we get the panel with gai in 8th gate mode.
