The animators seem to be taking there time with this war, with the extra fillers scenes which I think is a good thing to add a little depth to the war. The Sai flashback was good.

The next episode should be a good one where Tobi demands to find out how edo tensei works.

I thought the episode was good and would give it 4/5.

5/5 awesome episode sai was the best like always loved the flashback part learnt more about him this episode didnt feel like it had any filler in it at all (even though it did) it was that great

lame with a side of lame. 2/5. They took one of the coolest parts of the manga and just stuffed it full of flashbacks. One if the sakura fight which had v little relevance to the conversation they were having but conveniently took up about 4 mins. Then the made up filled-out sai and shin background with the good old narutoverse "blood-coughing-illness-that-is-only-terminal-at-dramatic-moments", which they love to spam.

was really hoping they would drag out the fight between kankuro and sasori like they did with the team 10 vs hidan and kakuzu. That was one of the best naruto anime fights ever cos they saw potential and drew it out a bit. This time they actually cut out parts of the real fight (sasori puppet's flamethrower for example) so they could stuff in more unnecessary made-up crap! Plus Sai's attack was a central and really cool couple of panels in the manga and here it was just brushed off as a slightly more powerful attack.

like i said, lame. very disappointed. they brushed past this fight and crammed it into an episode. let's see what they do with the booooring silver and gold brothers, bet that one will be epically long.

Hidan and Kakuzu arc. was the best arc ever and Kakuzu is the best Naruto character ever. Yep. It's just he got trolled like any other non-Uchiha character in Naruto.

Episode was okay. The sai filler made sense so I wasn't mad at that part at all. Some filler flashbacks might be necessary but like someone said above the Sasori and Chiyo filler flashback was kind of useless.

But I guess the Animators had to do something since the war is not over in the Manga so it is understandable.

After having a month of flashbacks and previous episodes of buildup I'm pretty happy with the pacing and presentation. Granted, more action would have been cool but the manga didn't have more action for this part of the story, so this is good. I'm actually getting hyped over each upcoming episode, keep it coming.

I dont mind the flashbacks, though they werent necessary, but they better go balls out animation-wise like they did in episode 262 when they reach Kakashi vs Zabuza

everyone thats complaining about the tiny filler bits think about this without the little bit of filler (related to the story line) is better then them catching the manga and we would have fillers not even related to the current story like like last month
