Episode 249 - Truly the saddest episode

Just watched episode 249, and I have to put this episode on the top for being the most saddening. Watching Minato and Kushina dying together to protect their son, was quite touching.

I didn't really get sad - but I did have a surprising teary-eye when Naruto and Kushina were talking at the end

I was tearing up at the end of this episode. A couple of episodes have made me tear up too, but I agree this is prolly one of the saddest

Personally, I expected to cry allot, but I didn't. I just shed a few tears near the end when Naruto tells his mom that it is O.k., she hugs him and fades away; and there stood Naruto alone crying for a moment.
I think those parts where he sheds tears from the pain of having to carry his burden alone, without the love and support of his parents, that I have shed my tears. :shrug:​

Very sad and touching ^_^ i got a bit teary eyed through out the thing ahaha. Naruto has such great story lines. Honestly best story ive ever read/seen. Mega inspiring

i'm still crying even now *teary eyed (just watched ep 248 nd 249)

I feel so sorry for Naruto, he was not able to grow up with Minato and Kushina
and he lived like he was a nuisance and monster in the village.. all along he was the village's saviour!

This ep. was so sad that I didn't even watch in school, lol I stopped mid-way during school and watched the rest at home.

Anyways, this was so epic.

Why does everyone think it is sad? I thought it was more happy. All the tears were tears of happiness. Sure, when Kushina and Minato said their final words after being pierced by Kyuubi and just before Minato completes the Eight Sign Seal, it was sad to see them die. But it was also a happy moment knowing that one day both of his parents will have a chance to see Naruto, and not just Minato. Minato acted like a Hokage by saving the village and the world. Pervy Sage's prophet child was Minato but changed to Naruto. Naruto will bring great change to the world, good ones, as opposed to Negato. So Minato saving Naruto meant saving the world. Maybe I'm just over thinking all this. I really think it was a moment of happiness.

Also, when Naruto and Kushina were hugging at the end, it was truly a moment of happiness and resolve. Naruto, having suffered all through his life, never got a chance to meet his parents and he finally does. It is happy. Kushina apologizes for having Naruto to go through being a Jinchuuriki, but Naruto says it was tough at first but he finds resolve with Kushina's story. Naruto, though never had real parental love, understand what his parents did for him and his village. He is happy!

Very exciting to finally see this part in action, but I am not too sold on the graphics. It always good to see Minato though.

Not gonna lie, I cried. Maybe it's because I can relate to Naruto growing up and facing all the hate that he did. Maybe because I understand the pain his parents experienced knowing that they were choosing to have their child grow up without them; experience the hatred and burden of being a Jinchurikki; and saying good bye.

This is the one story I let influence my life because I grew up feeling the pain of loneliness, but I too found a way to keep strong and find a few friends I can trust...

So sad I cried a little but I have to admit I was tearing up when asuma died also, me and angst just don't mix..... im a big crybaby
