walks to the front door of the mansion, awaiting the senpai, Urumi-chan. He begins by unraveling the bandages, and settling his chakra strings to his swordsman puppet, Yoshimitsu. He then flexes it about, just practicing some mild swings with it. All of a sudden, a shady figure appears in the distance...

Rank: A
Type: Puppet
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: - (30 to summon)
Damage Points: -
Description:
โ†’ Yoshimitsu is a puppet created long ago by Alternative which has had many tweaks to it to make it a viable puppet. He takes on the form of a Samurai, though can't use Samurai techniques. It is primarily made of a sturdy wood, with pieces of refined metal across it's face, ribs and legs to imitate a skeletal look. It is slightly taller than the average human, standing tall at approx. 2m and seems to have an athletic build. It's left wrist is mechanical, being able to twirl it around in haste. In it's left hand it wields a katana which is his primary weapon used for attacking. The user is able to use Kenjutsu techniques through the puppet, so long as the user has gone through the required training for it. The katana is also said to be cursed. Yoshimitsu's sword isn't seeped in poison, because it's based on a samurai from ancient folklore, which doesn't believe in using such toxins in such a way. Yoshimitsu is also able to use all basic puppet techniques, including Senbon Rain from it's right hand (fingertips), creating a Chakra shield using it's right arm, and able to emit either poison smoke or poison capsules which emit gas on hitting the floor through a compartment in it's mouth.
Notes:
โ†’ Yoshimitsu cannot be summoned into battle without proper Fuuinjutsu training
โ†’ While wielding the katana, the puppet cannot use any standard puppet jutsu
โ†’ Kenjutsu moves used through the puppet count as a move
โ†’ Can only use Kenjutsu techniques up to A-Rank
โ†’ Can only be used by those allowed by Alternative

*Urumi calmly walks towards Ghirahim, smoking her pipe with a thick trail of smoke, coming under her big straw hat, following behind her. She tops near him and blows out a thick, sweet flavored cloud of smoke from between her luscious lips.*

Urumi: "Welcome Ghirahim, so we finally meet. I shall be instructing you on the art of kenjutsu. Let us start with some basics. As always the general basics for a swordsman is following the way of kendo and its stances. So firstly stand straight towards me with your shoulders parallel to your feet. Then place your right foot slightly forwards whilst shuffling it a few paces and not lifting and at the same time shuffle your left foot backwards."

*She shows Ghirahim each step as instructed and awaits him to do the same*

(Just as a note, Yoshimitsu uses the sword in his left hand so I'll be playing it like that)

As Urumi instructs Ghirahim to take a standard samurai pose with Yoshimitsu, he gladly takes on the challenge. He knows it will be a little more difficult to follow though, being a puppet user and seeing as the puppet uses the sword in it's left hand primarily. but with that aside he gives it a go anyway.

Using the puppet strings precisely, Ghirahim controls Yoshimitsu to take the samurai stance as instructed. Using Yoshimitsu as a grounded puppet, Ghirahim takes control of it's stance for basic swordplay. He lines the puppet's shoulders up so that they're perfectly straight and parallel with his feet, and keeps it's arms straight down at it's dies. He then controls the puppet to slowly shift it's left foot forward for balance, and does so with the right foot, but backwards instead slowly, to mimic Urumi's stance.

Yeah if you're a lefty, then post as one of course ^_^ I will change my training for you.

Urumi: "Well done, this is the basic posture of a swordsman which eventually,
will become part of your nature and is automatic.

Now clench your fists and to your sides and the outer hand facing downwards. Then take your right hand placing it onto the scabbard at your right side and taking your left to unsheave your katana, whilst taking a vicegrip at a 45 degree angel at the base of the hilt and unsheave the katana. As you bring it fully out the scabbard bring your right hand taking the same grip to the bottom of the hilt and then level the hilt to your belly at about a fist distance away then raise the blade to point at my throat and keep that stance with the same posture maintaining the square posture of having your shoulders parallel like this diagram below":

Thanks for the compensation. ^_^

As instructed, Ghirahim still controls Yoshimitsu with finesse, clenching it's fists completely parallel with each other on it's sides. Then with the puppet's right hand, Ghirahim controls it to firmly grasp the scabbard with it's right hand, and use the left to unsheave it's katana from it's hilt. Through doing this, the puppet takes a vicegrip on the sword, twisting it to a 45 degree angle upon drawing the sword. When Ghirahim has the puppet's sword unsheaved, he then controls it to hold the sword at it's hilt at around it's stomach level and left hand in front of the right hand, mostly for stronger control over the sword.

Ghirahim concentrating on the style and technique of unsheaving the sword, he forgets to maintain the puppet's structure, so he quickly straightens up the posture with the left foot in front, and the right foot behind, all parallel with each other.

Urumi: "Good work Ghirahim!
Now that the basic position has been attained, we move onto basic attacks and defences.
For the attack I want you to raise your sword above your head keeping it in the center of your body, and your hands just above your head and then as you bring your sword down, take a step forward with your left foot first into the attack, aiming for this dummies head and then take a step backwards with your right foot first, then bringing your sword back to the same starting position aiming for the neck.
This particular move in kendo is known as Men-do. Give it a try.

Alright then. :)

Retaining the same posture Ghirahim has built from the last technique with his puppet, he begins to control it to raising the sword above it's head. Once the sword is above the puppet's head, aligned with the body's structure, Ghirahim controls it to take a step forward with it's left foot, and simultaneously striking the dummy, aiming for it's neck. While that's done, the puppet is controlled to take a step back with it's right foot, retracting to the original stance of the swordsman.

Urumi: "Good, your movement was fluent. How ever, your strike wasn't quite accurate and it didn't land on the head of the dummy. Since you are using the puppet as a tool of the trade, you must make sure to be accurate with your strikes.
We will try this in another way. In the way of defence. I will use the same attack on you and what I want you to do, is bring your sword upwards in the center line of your body and as my sword comes down at you, pivot your left hand whilst maintaining your right strong to tap the sword outwards giving you the openining to attack and in that moment, bring your sword back centrally and lift up to your head and bring down towards my head but only do the motion without the speed and stop at my head please.?"

*Urumi takes the basic stance and brings up her sword and steps forwards into the cut as she bring down the sword slowly*

You know, you could make a clone to take the strike instead...

Oh wait. :p

Ghirahim heeds your instructions, and anticipates your attack with Yoshimitsu close to him. Right now he's making the puppet take the basic stance with it's body, but holding the sword upright so that it's parallel with the body. As your attack is headed towards the puppet, with finesse Ghirahim controls it's arms to take a firm grip of the sword, and then with it's left hand twisted slightly to the right. As this happens, your attack would be swayed to the left (your right) while you strike, or that's what Ghirahim would think anyway. When this happens, and your move almost shredding the wood from Yoshimitsu, Ghirahim controls the arms to raise up above his head, and with a fluent and steady motion, goes to strike your head. To spare the death of his senpai, Ghirahim stops right before hitting your head, to finish the move. The puppet is then controlled to take the standard samurai stance with it's sword sheaved.

*As Girahim tries to move up the arms of the puppet, Urumi pivots her own sword and swings the puppet's sword away from her and crouches down in a spinning motion and sweeping the legs of the puppet and from there, dashes in front of Girahim, with her blade under his chin*

Urumi: "I know this must be extremely confusing with using, hmm..two minds, if you may. As I bring my sword down, about to hit your blade, you time your movements so, as our swords are close, you turn/pivot your blade to either direction to change the course of my blade and from there, do a downwards slash to the top of my head.
Clear your mind and let's go again shall we."

*Urumi takes few quick hops backwards, taking the basic stance and slowly coming towards Girahim*

Ghirahim: *sigh* I'll try again.

While I complain that I have to do it again since I'm meant to be perfect and fabulous, I control Yoshimitsu to take the basic stance one again. Feet spread apart, left hand above the right while holding the hilt, and sword parallel to the body. As you come at me bro with your strike, I control the puppet to stand firm. As you move closer and closer, and at the right moment, I make Yoshimitsu twist it's left arm to the right, while keeping it's right arm firm and strong. Simultaneously, I control the puppet to move inward to your strike, parrying your blow in another direction. After I've seen the opening, using the standard striking pose, arms above the head, I move Yoshimitsu's arms in a not-so-fast, but swift motion in order to strike you, but stopping before striking your head.

Urumi: "Flawless, attaboy. There are many various means to attack after that counter, such as a slash down the body, a slash to the hands, or to the abdomen. This is the reason why the stance should be obtained almost in a regular basis. Of course, it is sometimes based entirely on the situation itself.
Now the next part we can move onto techniques. Now the first technique is called sword barrage:"

Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 25
Description: With this technique, the user will make a sequence of slashes with their sword and finishes with a powerful final slash dealing liberal damage to their enemy.

Urumi: "Basically in this technique, you could use it in the same kendo stance and slash down at the target being the practice dummy. Then follow through with several over slashes before, for example, lifting your sword up again and then bringing it down whilst stepping into the cut and slash down to the ground with more force, making it more powerful than the other attacks. Give it a go and take your time."

Ghirahim: Let's hope I do this one flawlessly.

Once again, I control the puppet strings fabulously to make Yoshimitsu take the basic stance again. A wind picks up while the scene pans between myself and the target, being the practive dummy. I take a glare, ready for action, and control the puppet to step into the battle. The puppet is controlled to take a stpe forward, lunging into the dummy with a downward slash. Causing a big severing to it, the dummy is knocked back, and use this to my advantage. Taking another step forward, I control Yoshimitsu to strike to the right. Using this momentum I've created, Yoshimitsu twists the sword around making a half-turn, slashing the other way, deepening the wound. Finally, I finish with the puppet, controlling it to raise it's sword up above it's head and in a swift movement, lunge onto it's knee, bringing the sword down with the heavy momentum slashing into the first wound created.

My arms being nearly tangled up from the complex movements, I bring the puppet close to me, and wipe a sweat from my forehead. I control the puppet to sheave the sword, taking a standard stance without the sword.

I will then push this dummy towards you and what I want you to do, is step forward with small steps, only take short steps and dont take wide ones. As the dummy approaches you, punch the dummy backwards with couple of hits and then draw your katana to the same basic stance and then quickly deliver some slashes. In this case raise your sword to your chest on your left side first, as you take one step forwards. On the second step, lift the sword above your head pointing to your right a bit and on the third and final step deliver the cut. Then in quick motion again, the same process but being inverted. Bringing your sword to the right chest in one step, above your head in the second step, with the sword point behind to your left and the third step slash again and finally, take two short steps backwards and bring your sword on the first back step pointing to the ground and the second bring it to the center pointing at its throat.

Give this a go and hopefully its not too confusing for you."

(I'm not sure if I've interpreted this right, so just let me know if I make any mistakes)

I begin by controlling Yoshimitsu to sheave it's katana, which is silly because I've already done it. By placing the puppet's feet firmly onto the ground I await the assault which is to come before me in the form of that dummy you've got there. When it's pushed towards me, I take control of Yoshimitsu, taking a few steps forward with a boxing-like stance. Yoshimitsu is that controlled to take two quick jabs with it's right hand at the dummy's chest, and then a swift left hook across it's face.

While the dummy seems disoriented, using the momentum from the hook, Yoshimitsu is controlled to grasp it's sword and quickly unsheave it from it's scabbard, swiftly taking a basic samurai stance, but holding the katana to the left side of the puppet. Taking a small step forward towards the dummy, the puppet moves in the same fashion, keeping the same distance from me, and I control it to keep the stance. I take a second step forward, controlling Yoshimitsu to raise the katana but raising it in a way that the tip would be at the right, and finally on the third small step I control the puppet to slash downwards to the left on a diagonal at the dummy.

At this stage, the puppet's sword should be close to the floor, and Yoshimitsu lunged into the dummy. By quickly taking control, Yoshimitsu inverts it's sword, holding the hilt to it's right side and taking a low step keeping it's lunge stance. Retracting that stance, the puppet takes another small step bring the sword up above it's left side, and takes the final step, slashing the puppet once again, which would create an 'X' wound on the puppet. The move should then be finished, and the dummy just stands there like it was nothing, but then I take a couple small steps back, controlling the puppet to retain it's basic samurai stance, which brings the point of the sword at the dummy's head.

Urumi: "Very good Girahim! We have to skip a couple as they require Iaido and samurai saber to be performed first. So the next one for you is this:"

Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user bolts in front of the enemy who they then strike with their sword handle before delivering several kicks that sends the enemy into the air. The user then bolts across to the far off location of the enemy who they then punch violently into an obstacle.

Urumi: "For this technique, what I want you to do, is whilst your katana is sheaved I want you to rush at the wooden dummy and hit it with the hilt of your blade. Then follow up delivering a kick to the stomach area, kicking it up off the floor slightly and follow with a second kick lifting completely into the air and follow through with a few more to send him flying through the air. After that you rush to where hes about to fall and then punch it knocking it to the ground."

Sorry I took a while, been busy. ._.
_______________

"I'll manage this easily!"

After muttering those words of confidence, I practice Yoshimitsu to sheave his sword, for the beginning of the technique. When that's done, I move back to mid-range in distance from the dummy you're pointing at for me to attack, and I also bring the puppet back to myself, to prepare for the attack. Keeping it's left hand gripped firmly on the hilt, and the right hand on the scabbard, I make Yoshimitsu dash towards the dummy. When it approaches it within close range, I quickly control the puppet to thrust the sword, hilt first at the dummy's stomach. When the dummy would supposedly bend over from the force of the hit, using the momentum from the force, Yoshimitsu's right leg is forced to move into the dummy's stomach as well, which is aimed at a certain angle which would lift the dummy slightly into the air. When that happens, I quickly snap back that leg, and go for a second kick, right under the dummy's head to completely lift it in the air. Using the lightness of the puppet, I'm able to use sheer strength to make it float underneath the dummy. While this happens, Yoshimitsu is controlled to take a few small kicks at the dummy's stomach, like jabs with the feet. After it's taken a prolonged time in the air, I make the puppet perform a quick dash to it's original position, and make it perform one final strong punch at the dummy whilst it falls. Through the kicks from before, the dummy should be upside-down falling, so the punch is aimed at the stomach. The dummy from this, should be sent flying into those nearby boulders.
