Didn`t it look like one of Pain`s summonings?

I think most were expecting Kisame to do the deed especially with a confrontation between Hidden Mist Anbu looming but Pain or his summon to be exact is a pleasant surprise.

This can mean that this arc is almost over =3
Tsunade send team 7 back to Konana, and le tpain get the 6 tails and kill of those filler chars. and go to sage training and make a gaiden about a random Konana Ninja ^^

this filler is actually good compared to the previous ones, and i liked Utakata he gives a real jinchuriki feeling

I prefered the Sanbi arc. over this one. Because it had more of funny Tobi scenes. This one just lacks of Tobi.​

well aye it did finish with Pains summon but we're now episode 150 and still no sign.. now im pretty sure its not hard for pain to finish with those mist anbu in no time so has he stopped for a cuppa tea while he leaves utakata & naruto to ponce around with these pointless enemies ?? ...should be good once he comes in which will obviously be after naruto leaves Utakata, as we shall see 6 tails vs. Pain (or hopefully we should do) before Pain goes chasing after naruto & the whole pain vs. konoha sega... YAY!

Pain's summon was at the end of episode 148 indeed and guessing was about to attack & destroy the ANBU team after Utakata from the mist

BUT as of yet, 2 episodes on, no more sign on any of that ;|
