Can't we just say that they both did good? I was surprised to see Mitsuki struggle so much. In fact, I'm disappointed by him and the villains (Plot wise) in this ep. Mostly due to my expectations.

The episode was pretty good, not gona hate. Really enjoyed it.

Animation was on point and I like the fighting scenes.

Boruto was fighting him equally this episode too with kunai only. I guess the sword makes the difference for Boruto, but anyways the fight was cool. and he totally rekt Kagura

Yeah their last spar, after it was done. Boruto said Kagura was strong, but then Kagura mentioned they fought without ninjutsu, so who knows who would win.

Basically he was fighting him on his playing field, nothing but raw Kenjutsu. Though this doesn't mean Boruto can beat him though, they hardly even fought.

I think his best performance was the tag team with Mitsuki via tacking down Shizuma, and that Gale Palm/Hyuuga combination was pretty solid.

His first solo and it was Kisame spawn :lol

Try again when Sarada have more ninjutsu feats.

CQC will be subjective cause they all fight uniquely. Boruto is about evasion, Sarada is about smashing your ribs, Mitsuki is about strangling, etc.

Regardless, Boruto is superior in CQC.

Boruto is better in CQC. He beat 4 goons easier and faster than she beat 2 of them

Boruto is faster than her, more agile and his taijutsu is better.

The mere fact Buntan, a Chuunin-level ninja couldn't ''realize'' or ''decipher'' she was in Genjutsu speaks volumes. Let alone dispel it.

If I remember correctly Sarada struggled to put Buntan in Genjutsu in the beginning.

Which are futilely inferior to Sarada's Shurikenjutsu.

Infusing Lightning seems to be what Sarada is also capable of via Databook.

You can't provide anything saying that Sarada is stronger at Shurikenjutsu, try again. I can provide scans of Boruto doing what Sarada exactly can do.

Your argument is not valuable without feats.

She had enough speed to take on Boruto. That's pretty much all we need here.

Intelligence - Boruto is smart as showcased multiple times in the anime.
Genjutsu - Sarada
Ninjutsu - Boruto by feats & DB
Shurikenjutsu - Equal to Sarada until better feats

Watch the fight. He had Mitsuki helping him and he was still getting countered, and Mitsuki was getting countered too.

Boruto fought both Kagura & Shizuma ( the two strongest ). Boruto casually outbrain and hit Kagura without any difficulty.

Also Shizuma got surprised by his speed, actually mean something coming from at least a high Chunin ninja.

Btw, Kagura wasn't serious either. He didn't even use Hira at full power. Solemnly serious Kagura > Boruto.

Once again Boruto showed how its done only using his brain to come up with new combo moves on his own.
That last move to solo Shizuma was so cool.

Not to mention he beat both Kagura and Shizuma with a little help ofc.
