Sanji wasn't able to go up against a VA, and Zoro got *****slapped by Fujitora. Let's not forget that Kizaru rinsed all of the Supernova's without effort. And that the admirals were basically winning the entire war for the marines against crews who have been years in the new world.
I think it's unrealistic to think that the SH's are admiral level at the end of the series.
Well I don't think it is unrealistic. Zoro didn't get *****slapped by Fujitora he was just surprised by his DF. Sanji indeed wasn't able to go up against a high level VA but he was probably on par with Smoker.
Kizaru owned the Supernovas because most if not all of them didn't have Haki. The series will go on for another 5+ years at least so there is more then enough time. Luffy started at Captain level and before the Timeskip he was probably High-Rear admiral/Low Vice Admiral level. In the Timeskip he jumped from that too Mid-VA level just like Zoro and Sanji is probably not far off. with their growrate they will be Admiral Level. Luffy isn't that much stronger than Zoro and Sanji.
And the Admirals wheren't winning the entire war, the VA, Admirals, Pacifista and Shichibukai where. The rest where Fodder.
