[Discussion] Enton Explanation: Sasuke is a Ninjutsu Genius

It is not necessarily that, but close there can not an element which characteristics differ from the elements found naturually in nature without the addition to another element.

I will regurgitate this once more: Enton is the Seishitsu Henka or Nature Transformation of the black flames of Amaterasu, it is composed of Katon (‘Fire’) and likely (‘Yin’). Yin and Yang are the sixth type of Seishitsu Henka and are not non-elemental, which can and have combined with elemental Seishitsu Henka, hence Enton.


There exists no rule, no notion that supposes that non-elemental ninjutsu and elemental ninjutsu cannot be combined—it has always been indicative ever since Yamato revealed that Yin and Yang are the sixth type of Seishitsu Henka and are not non-elemental. ​

The eye that casts tsukuyomi has the ability to manipulate yin. The black flames being composed of yin and fire ishould be able to be influenced by that same eye that casts tsukuyomi.

Also, I feel as I should clarify the matter of Enton, which I’ve stated several times is the Seishitsu Henka of the black flames of Amaterasu; it is not the ability to manipulate the flames, that is Kagutsuchi, Sasuke’s Mangekyō Sharingan ability to apply and Keitai Henka ('Shape Manipulation') unto the black flames or Enton and discontinue these flames when he pleases; hence its name Enton: Kagutsuchi—much like Naruto’s Fūton: Rasengan, Fūton is the Seishitsu Henka and Rasengan is the ability which utilizes the Seishitsu Henka or Fūton. ​

This is what confuses most people, the manipulation comes from Sasuke's Mangekyō Sharingan; it is of his Mangekyō Sharingan that he can manipulate and extinguish Enton or Kagutsuchi, which creates Sasuke's second ocular jutsu and allows for Susanoo to be use (as the requirements for Susanoo have since been changed)—but that's another topic entirely, one that requires a thread in and of itself...
