I had a lady come into my office and scream at me because she didn't having a parking spot in front of her unit. We have a pretty large complex and we don't have assigned parking (this isn't her fist night here, so she knows this). So, unfortunately guest don't have specific parking spots for rooms. It's first come, first serve. My question is, why do people feel so entitled that they feel the need to scream and complain when things don't work out exactly like they would like them to. Then they start to exaggerate the situation like, "there isn't a single parking spot in your entire middle or upper parking lot". I walked around and counted eight parking spots in the area she was complaining about, not even five minutes after she left the office. I just don't understand some people. Just because she didn't have the exact area of parking she wanted, she had to be a complete B*$&@ to me... I just don't understand it one bit.

A lot of people are selfish and they don't realize that they're getting mad at you for something that you have no control over.
For example, I work at a restaurant and many times the guests will give the waiters attitude when their food takes long to come out. It's not like the waiters are the ones cooking the food in the first place but people just take out their frustration on them since they're who is attending them, not the cooks.

Yes, staying at a Vacation Condo must be so difficult to deal with :/ I'm so cozy here working my 3rd shift job, I mean, my life is obviously perfect, because I have a parking spot. She tried to say, "I bet you get tons of complaints about your parking everyday" I responded with, "You're my first complaint about parking in the almost year I've been here". She didn't like that very much, but sometimes the truth hurts. I don't feel much compassion for someone who starts yelling, while i'm trying to help another guest.

I waited tables, so I know exactly what you mean by that. It's just a little different when it's over a parking spot. The worst part is I was helping another guest when she did this.

It may be due to past problems, she may be facing something which may cause her anxiety or something similar... Due to this she me take out the steam within her, by that I mean her anger. Honestly you should face problems like these with a smile on your face don't need to talk back unless she uses forceful methods.

I think yelling over parking while I'm helping another guest is pretty petty.

I can't imagine what kind of horror she must have faced in the past due to not having the exact parking spot she wanted. That poor woman deserves a purple heart, and an award from the president. lol

SolarSpider, I have a question about your signature. Are breakfast specialty restaurants really that unhealthy? Worse than fast food? Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask, I'm new and still learning how to function on this site.

Lol, I had seen a similar situation over the summer, while at an OfficeMax, some woman at the beginning of the print line overreacted to not having her orders as she wanted, and calling the clerk an "a**hat" (Btw, funniest insult I had heard all summer), and had a temper tantrum in the store for five minutes.........until it was realized she had mistakenly taken someone else's orders and the tantrum/rant was a misunderstanding. She ran out the store after paying, it was awkward.

All human has this "raging animal" inside us, most of us can control it and stay civilized, but every once in a while, some people will snap and it will get ugly. That's just my personal views.....

And just to point out for myself, 699 posts, not ashamed to point that out U_U

It can be healthy if you custom order in some cases. The menu is pretty bad for you though.
