Well, Naruto to Naruto Shippuden
Dragonball to Dragonball Z
Dragonball GT didn't last very long, so I doubt a part three would do any better.
If Kishi ends Naruto after this war, it would suck, but the series would be at peace. Starting a new searies with a new character from scratch might work, but the affects of this war on the Shinobi World is just too great. The point behind the end of this series isn't just good guys win and bad guys loose/die, it's about finally having a unity of the ninja world and puting an end to the circle of hate that the ninja system created. You can't just create new "bigger picture" like that out of nowhere. Naruto has done ten years worth if issues, and that's a long time. It's probbly time for things to come to an end anywere between the next one to two years. (I don't like it, but Kishi's given us alot).

if there was a part 3 after the war was over it would be really crap, i think if there was anything more he would do, it would just be like prequels of minato and kakashi like the kakashi gaiden part, either that or like what theyre doing with avatar the last air bender and have it set like 50 years after so most poeple would be gone and they could start a new thing.
But hopefully he will just end it after the war and not make a fool of himself by making some shitty part 3.
