Two conflicting arguments cancel each other out. Conclusion: Naruto = Sasuke. I am not mad, I have no reason to be. I am fully satisfied with this chapter.
Sasuke brought up the subject of continuing to fight when he asked Naruto if he still wanted to in his condition literally RIGHT before he admitted defeat.
While yes there is a deeper and underlying meaning in the overall story, the fight itself represented that deeper meaning. By admitting defeat in the fight, Sasuke also conceded to Naruto's ambition over his own.
By you trying to play peacemaker and say that there were no victors, you are actually undercutting the significance of the fight entirely, and gutting the very meaning of the battle, basically you're making it all pointless all because you don't want to say "Sasuke lost the fight". Now you are right still in my opinion that they are equal somewhat in terms of power, I'm not saying otherwise in that aspect.
But there was always supposed to be a winner and loser in this fight. The one willing to keep fighting won, and that was Naruto. Naruto won the fight, and as a result he the pathway to the deeper meaning was set. Fanboys will just have to accept this. No need to try and soften this fact for their sake, it because as you pointed out, Naruto's victory is deeper than what we saw on the battlefield
