Ok that was just one speculation. It can end in a tie or Sasuke just simply winning without Naruto dying. Or the fight might not happen. And the hero always wins? So who won in part one?

Oh I ask again please name a manga where the rival wins the final fight.

Oh thats right no manga like that exist with a Shounen brand, but you think Naruto is the one manga that will break the rule that Kishi will have the rival a character that wasn't even going to be made originally win the final fight.

Sasuke who was only created to be Naruto's rival will win the final fight in your opinion. (Yeah right LOL).

To hell with plot no jutsu. Everything in the manga would considered plot no jutsu. Naruto will surpass all, it's undeniable.
As for your comment on, "he should be at least strong as Minato by now"- who's to say he hasn't? And who's to say when he should surpass his father? Naruto is OP for young age.

when that happens, you can put Naruto in all of your top ten list but sadly for you, it hasn't happen yet.

Example : The plot made Nagato strong. The plot made Kurama Naruto's chakra pimp.
The plot made Nagato [Pain] beaten by a "I will never give up" Naruto when in fact, Nagato should've won that fight. Even if you based it on the current war, the five Kage were raped by Madara; who hasn't even mastered his Rinnegan perfectly yet [the time he received the Rinnegan and the time he gave Nagato the Rinnegan is still unclear] unlike Nagato who spent years with the Rinnegan. Kishi rushed the fight thus destroying the fight itself. That's why people use plot no jutsu. Naruto were saved multiple times by plot.

Him in the current Kyuubi mode, yes, him as his original form without the help of Kurama, no.
OP? yeah, he uses the Kyuubi's abilities and that made him OP. his own strength? nope.
again, let me let you understand ; Naruto is being underrated because his real strength alone made him a weak protagonist. it'd be totally different if his own strength was at least as strong Minato. if you checked almost all protagonist, their own strength alone is good enough to equal at least one top tier but Naruto doesn't.

The RS could've very well meant that the juubi was "true power" and not Naruto. Think about it- that chapter is about the tailed beasts assembling together in a host. If all tailed beasts are together, it creates the juubi. But if Naruto obtains the juubi (and he'll need Shukaku) then I don't see anyone but the sage defeating him.
Overall, I agree. Naruto is slightly underrated.

Sasuke was created to for the purpose of being a villian, which he stated in his interviews.

If they don't fight then Sasuke's entire storyline becomes redundant. He was created to be a rival and a villian, read the interviews.

He's matured and is notified as the "one with TRUE power" by the Rikudou Sennin himself!

Goku saved the world and blah blah. Naruto saved his village and blah blah. Vegeta did his own little bad guy stuff, making him the tough guy he is. Either way you put it. They all gained their power from something. Vegeta was placed their to give Goku a good fight, becoming his rival in the process while becoming his comrade a swell. Like it or not, Sasuke is a main person in this Naruto tale if you like it or not. You can tell me different when he is no longer in the start songs before the actual episodes start.
