It was a cute thread. I think I've written longer essays about books in school than this thread. You didn't even fully analyse Itachi's abilities; this thread is hardly balanced.​

I didn't analyse Itachi's abilities on purpose since most of them are useless in this battle. The only factor is genjutsu, which i debunked in this thread

Itachi possesses a lot of genjutsu that doesn't require the opponent to look in his eyes. Plus Minato doesn't have anything strong enough to break his Susanoo/Totsuka blade/Yata mirror combo. Even Zetsu said that combination made Itachi's susanoo invincible (chapter 393, page 9). Although Minato would definitely win in speed, there's no way Itachi would let him touch him to place a seal because he would use suanoo.

Not saying Itachi would 100% win, I'm just saying you missed out one major flaw. We can never know who would win in a fight. Oh yeah and please tell me a way how Minato can stop kotoakatsukami.

Nothing but sub-par speculation. Kakashi had knowledge as well and yet, he was looking straight in Itachi's eyes and so did every other Jounin present at time time. This 'vast Knowledge' garbage is clearly self-made. Minato didn't have any more or less knowledge about Uchihas and their abilities than Ninja individuals within the village in that era. Even people outside the village - Chiyo, Raikage, Onoki etc - had amassed sizable intel about Clans.

genjutsu does not require eye contact.

genjutsu is a ninja fighting style ex ninjutsu kenjutsu taijutsu

there are however some genjutsu that do require eye contact tysukuyomi

but the problem is itachi has many genjutsu and 2 of them roll on floor shitstomps minato
kotoamatsukami
and tsykuyomi

The only thing he has to worry about is Itachis Genjutsu all in all I say Minato wins 60% of the time.

If Minato can't look at Itachi how does Minato see Amatarasu coming?
All Itachi would need is Susanoo's Rib cage, why would he bring out his full Susanno?
And Itachi can easily redirect Minato's Kunai, his shuriken skills are unbelievable

u do realize that minato base speed isnt fast enough to dodge amaterasu...and minato cant teleport inside susano..wtf thats some of the most ridiculous shit i have ever heard on nb
