So Naruto and Sasuke are still destined to fight.

So if Sasuke doesn't want to destroy the leaf village, then whats the point of there fight? (Well Sasuke's intentions are still up in the air, with the cues from Sai, Sakura, Jugo, and Shikamaru, that his intentions still might be evil in nature)

Well with the recent Sage revelation that the Sage's children chakra spirit are reincarnating over and over and continuing there battle.

Now it is still up in air, whether the "chain of hatred" is based solely on the fact that these spirits are still existing.

It seems the chain can be broken if Indra's was stopped from reincarnating.

So based on parallels it seems that Madara was incarnation of Indra, but it seems now Sasuke is the current reincarnation.

Prediction

Sasuke and Naruto will defeat Madara thanks to info the gained from the Sage, and whoever Sasuke talks too.

So once the war is over, Sasuke has learned that he has the Indra spirit within him, and thats why he can't shake the urge to get revenge, however thanks to Itachi, he wants to break the chain of hatred that exists within him. Under the pretense of destroying the leaf village, he challenges Naruto. However, in secret even though he will fight with all his strength, inside he knows Naruto is stronger and will eventual defeat him. Thanks to a secret he learns from the spirit he talks too, or a secret from the Uchiha tablet, he has found a way to stop Indra's spirit from reincarnating, but of course it will cost him his life. Which Sasuke is willing to do as Naruto's friend, and he puts his hope in dreams of a world of peace with Naruto.

this whole prediction is just based on if the chain hatred is caused by the Sage children being reincarnated, but if its not this whole prediction probably doesn't have any merit.

Maybe after this, instead of Indra being reincarnated--Sasuke would be? And his spirit will be one who was born into hatred but changed into a peaceful soul. And instead of having to go through the trials Sasuke did, Sasuke's reincarnation will be a supporter of Ashura's reincarnation--from the very beginning. Cycle of hatred ended!
