Naruto at the end of part 1 was well put together and definitely a strong nin for anyone who wasn't high jounnin ,akatsuki or kage level.


Naruto part 1 feats :

great finisher rasengan , shadow clones , great at taijustu , summoning justu frog which means naruto can fight big battles , going to go kyubbi 1 tails mode , stamina

kurenai :

genjustu

part 1 naruto wins mid/high diff

Only perfect jins can shake off genjutsu. Part 1 Naruto wasn't a perfect jin at the time.

I edited the post. Minus Kurama's help and summoning, I don't see how she can lose. She's a leaf jounin. But with his summoning and 1 tail he can beat her

Kurenai hasn't shown much be she is a Jonin who Asuma respected enough to have his back against Itachi.
Based purely on the fact that she has Genjutsu that I doubt naruto would be able to figure out I say she wins with the same Genjutsu that didn't work on Itachi. Mid to low diff.

part 1 naruto was trained by lord jiraya himself , regardless of age naruto was stronger . Even if as many user are suggesting naruto is some how isnt able to get out of genjustu and then is stabbed by kurenai naruto would simply go kyubbi mode

Hmm. If that wasn't during the timeskip (I remembered this moment, just don't remember when it took place, before VotE1 or in some flashback about the timeskip), then featwise he has good chances against Kurenai indeed, fair enough She doesn't have any feats aside from genjutsu anyway.

But if the scan you've posted takes part during the timeskip, he stands no chance.

He was never good with genjutsu of any sort nor he ever broke genjutsu even once

Tbh can Kurenai genjutsu Naruto in that v1 cloak ???
Naruto still able to spam rasengan while inside Itachi genjutsu. In v1 cloak he speed blitz Kurenai even before she cast genjutsu or just being rampant inside genjutsu and do dmg to the surounding.
