Yo, wondering if anyone but me, are reading Cage of Eden?

How did you like the ending? For me it was a bit off, perhaps I didn't really understand, if it was all just Akiras moms dream, or if it was really the work of God? I am not sure Yamada-sensei wanted to say, so I just wanted to hear thoughts on it?

Also I would probably rather have seen them all die (as an ending it could still be in a "happy" way), but this way, there is an opportunity to take up the manga again.

Also I didn't really understand, why they needed to create extinct animals at the island? What was the purpose? To create this so called chemical-weapon, I can understand, why understanding animal DNA, could be useful, but why did they need them to be "free"? Of course it's possible, they abandoned the island, or the humans died, and some animals got out of their cages or whatever. What do you think?

Yeah, well it's a good manga, worth reading. Kind of like Btooom (if you know it). People stranded on a deserted islands, with wild animals, struggling to survive.

Just finished the manga.. to be honest, it's the worst ending I've ever read, no really, so many questions stayed unanswered. In fact, the brought even more questions, the story was good but the end was so ****ed up :'(

I agree! I really loved how this story was turning out. Though many of the parts I found were predictable I just loved how it was slowly wrapping itself up. Then I read "Ending in three chapters!" and I was like "What are you talking about!!! Too many questions for three chapters to answer!!!". (Sry ranting there XD) I liked the whole idea with it being the future though and I understood it all but it was way too rushed. I hope there is a sequel because what happened to akira's friend and hades? Are they still there? How will the world be like when they show up to say Japan? America? And what he said at the end how the person who infected them may still be out there is it the adopted child they showed previous? Too many questions!!!!

Yeah, CoE's ending wasn't that great. It was weird, contradictory, and brought up quite a few questions, while answering very little of the already existing questions. Although that's probably because the manga got Axed, it wasn't a natural ending.
