I think Boruto is an exception. When you compare him to Sarada he definitely takes the cake but if you look at Naruto and Sasuke. It was always Naruto spamming the same jutsu that he has had from Part 1 added with the Wind Elemental Release which he had in Part 2 whereas Sasuke had variety of moves since Part 1. Excluding Boruto or Nagato the Uzumaki Clan doesn't possess various jutsus.
He didn't display 3 elements on the movie, not even in the novel. The novel only mentions that he can use 3 natures, but he doesn't actually use them, and lets be honest, novels aren't canon. The only nature that he actually uses in the movie is the wind nature. Other than that, all the other elements come from Katasuke's device.

I have to agree with Vulpine on this one. Boruto bragged that he could use three chakra natures, but at no point what so ever does he actually show that he can.
The only two jutsu that Boruto legitimately uses in the movie are Shadow Clone Jutsu, and Rasengan [infused with wind element]. All the other chakra natures that he used was thanks to the device that he acquired. When he said he could use this and that element to Naruto, I was under the impression that he was just trying to show off. If he could have actually used those jutsu, then he wouldn't have struggled so much in the Chunnin exams.

I've seen the movie like you, of course, but that isn't the point of the discussion. You have no way of proving he was just bragging, because again you are right. He is bragging about his own abilities, and what's the best part about his statement which was what he said entiretly
"I can already make the Kage Bunshin, Fuuton, Raiton, and lately Suiton too!"

So how are the other two ... wrong? What I found even more odd was that he said "they required no training", which is just a sign of his prodigal abilities. But he didn't say he could use their jutsu's, he said he can use those elements.
Two differences here. If you saw the Movie you would understand that Boruto has a lot of confidence in his own abilities, but he isn't a liar. He just cheats to cut through hard work, but he never indirectly states something that is wrong because he deceives people with words.
