This one of the biggest misconceptions of NV. This was never stated that was the only way to get susano'o. The manga and the databook were specifically talking about Itatch's Susano'o as i was him talking and his was the only one in the manga at the time.

No I don't think he has EMS. You need a pair of MS from your sibling (Uchiha sibling) to get EMS. In no way shape or form are Obito and Kakashi related, and dead people can't give blood transplants since he's basically ash and even if he did give blood it wouldn't be enough because he's still Sakumo's son and Sakumo wasn't a Uchiha. So no, he doesn't have EMS and if Kishimoto does give him EMS I would call BS.

Playing devils advocate, but EMS hash't been fully explained. The original explanation about the operation of the Sharingan was that one Uchiha had to kill their brother and then take and implant their eyes. That might be false information because the first we hear of EMS is when Itachi is explaining to Sasuke what the Naka Shrine tablet says. We now know the Naka Shrine Tablet was modified by BZ as part of his plan to set brother against brother. The eyes might only get an upgrade because of the resulting hatred from the fratricide. This is only speculation but it fits better with what Tobirama says about the eyes. if all they do is reflect the emotions of the user then the eyes themselves might be nothing important - i.e. all the eyes do is display the chakra in the brain.
This last week Obito didn't give Kakashi his eyes…he gave Kakashi his chakra. A couple of weeks ago Madara used Susanoo without any eyes at all. I know I'll be accused of denying manga facts but it could tie in with the curse of hatred storyline rather than be a sign that Kishi has been making errors in how he shows the Sharingan operating. I think my explanation is better because otherwise the no eyes susanoo and Kakashi's no transplant sharingan can only be explained as ass pulls. Rather than being genetic the eyes are spiritual.

A character stating something is not the same as Kishimoto himself stating something. As far as Itachi knew that was how you awakened Mangekyu...now where did Itachi gain that knowledge? Either from the Uchiha tablet...which was tampered with by BZ or from Obito who trained him...but Obito was taught by Madara, who in turn was being manipulated by Bz...
Itachi gave unreliable Info...(Unfounded...but for all we know Ems may have a different requirement for awakening/ Like the former carrier of Ms willingly giving it to someone they cared about...remember Uchiha love and all that jazz? Think about all the other times Sharingan advanced and the situations that triggered said advancements)
Even Madara himself was clueless why he Obtained Rennegan thinking it was simply combining Uchiha and Senju...but it was really just combining Ashura's and Indra's chakra.
People should really stop taking these characters worlds as gospel and the crying Kishimoto lied. Did these people ever stop to think that maybe the author is trying to inset a bit of mystery into the story to keep people guessing.
