well lets analyze the situation
the advantages of guy:-
incredible speed
incredible strength
because of his experience with kakashi he konw's how to counter the genjutsu of sharingan
and lets not forget the 7 inner gates
disadvantages:-
cant use ninjutsu
weak defence
now advantages of sasuke:-
sharingan-eyes that sees every thing
genjutsu
ameteratsu
susaano-ultimate defence
enton
chidori and variants
specializes in swordship
and fire style
summoning jutsu
good speed
disadvantage
low reserve of chakra

Now sasuke can keep up with guy's speed through his own speed and sharingan.
He can tackle guy's taijutsu by inferno style:rib cage.......then guy wont be able to touch sasuke and his taijutsu will a waste.
Now guy possess the gates and let not forget about the morning peacock and hirudara(these are some awesome attack),but will it be enough to break through sasuke's susaano.....!! I seriously doubt that...
Now as we sasuke have amateratsu and the susano's arrow and yasaka magatama.....with these attack he can really finish guy very easily......and not forget sasuke's somming jutsu(the snake)....well i dont see how guy could tackle that

Meh if Bee can dodge Amateratsu So can Gai. I don't really see Gai shattering Sasukes Susanno', but I can't help but feel like Gai could so something... What I can't really think of right now but Gai's got multiple tricks up his sleeve as we've seen. Someone in this thread said Gai can't use Ninjutsu? He can use Ninjutsu just fine, dunno why you'd say that?

It pushed his Susanoo back, there is absolutely 0 signs of it damaging Susanoo.

Even when Gai used Hirudora on Kisame, his body was still firmly intact.

1- Against Kisame gai didn't have intent to kill

2- Against Madara, Why didn't Madara show up after one whole chapter? If his susano wasn't detroyed then why didn't he just stand up (with his undamaged susano) and atack again? The answer is that his susano got destroyed

1. Says who? Guy isn't too smart, I bet he just wanted to kill him.
2. Well that's speculation. I used to think Guy destroyed it, however Kidgamer logically proved it didn't. The Hirudora is just air pressure, it isn't destroying the V3 Susanoo.
