My issue is that he never used it by himself until sage power up. He should be able to use it in theory since susanoo is a MS technique, but there are hardly (if any) panels of him using PS without being merged with Naruto's avatar.

He could use the armor in Ems just like sasuke, then he got access to hagoromos chakra when he implanted hashis cells and that could have boosted his ps to the standing one which is what am saying, we never saw him use it afta awakening the chakra but the one he used as an Edo could be the product of it, we will never know. That's all am saying, anything else is speculation. You are failing in trying to excuse madara from the logic u are using on sasuke. Did I say his rinnegan pushed anything? I said hagoromos chakra might have influenced it and he got that earlier after implanting hashis cells. On my phone so can't give scans. That's the same as Madara he didn't show his walking PS until he was edo with Rinnegan with EMS he used PS around Kyuubi same as Sasuke.

Oddly enough the anime does show him with PS with ems, not to mention susanoo is a MS technique. I'm not saying Sasuke doesn't have a PS at EMS but it wasn't really shown at EMS level. Another reason why I don't like mentioning it in debates since there are hardly any panels of it at EMS unless you include the PS/avatar fusion.
