Remember that the tomoes develop during times of intense emotion or because of need (Vs. V1 Naruto's speed etc) and with them being desperate, the Sharingan seemingly awoke by itself to add the tomoe because of Sasuke's desperation at the time.

EMS Madara can't passively absorb chakra. He got that trait either from Rinnegan or Hashirama. Having that Gunbai doesn't automatically means he has wind chakra. The gunbai clearly has uses beyond that. That said, Sasuke clearly has the better list. This isn't even their full sets though. Madara trumps in experience, intelligence, chakra levels, and speed and (presumably) taijutsu and strength. Sasuke's got the better MS set though. Amaterasu, Enton, and the same level of Susano'o with Sasuke's edging it out due to combining it with enton.

When are people going to stop trying to enforce the idea that Sasuke is better than Madara? Sorry if I'm mistaking your post for that, but it's all I see lately. With little to no effort (in fact I'm sure Madara was just toying with Sasuke at some points), and blind, Marada took down Sasuke, very neg difficulty. It's really not hard to tell who's better between the two.

A techniques that Madara cannot use without Rinnegan, and a technique his PS can just block. Madara isn't a god, and Sasuke's chakra has been compared to his by one of the persons who should know it best, long before his chakra even reached it's current level.

This is EMS Madara and EMS Sasuke. No one was implying Sasuke was superior to Madara in general, just comparing their stats when they were at a similar level. When blind, Madara got stabbed through his arm and chopped on his shoulder, and couldn't even damage Sasuke. If that is your idea of toying with someone, something must be wrong. He only beat Sasuke when he had Rinnegan backed by Senjutsu, and even then he could best all nine bijuu at once.

While blind, he blocked sasuke's attack with nearly no effort what so ever. While half-blind, he "killed" him. Now granted, he had the one rinnegan at that point but still, it's enough to show that he is not someone to **** with.

So I'd say that "before death" sasuke could not beat madara.

I already said my bad if I took it as more than a plain comparison. Tough not to do on this site when you have Sasuke fanboys trying to constantly make Sasuke out to be better than everyone else.

And I'm pretty sure he took that sword through the arm as total toying with him. He could have EASILY dodged that. But he just got the healing abilities of Hashirama and we all know Madara thrives on pain and rubbing shit in other people's faces.

It's basically the same thing that happened with Kakashi. He unlocked MS when he was a kid, but couldnt use it untill much later.

Sasuke does seem to have better eyes but Madara is likely to be more skilled and far more experienced than Sasuke so it balances out. Madara's childhood was spent on the battlefield in life or death situations and had exposure to lots of Uchiha tech.
