Reasons why Madara is more powerful that Nagato

-Madara lived in a era where there was constant fighting between rivaling clans and he bested all of them only comparable to the equally powered Senju.

-Fighting all the time Madara has way more experience than Nagato combat wise.

-Nagato had trouble overpowering 8 tails Naruto, Madara tamed the beast with a inferior dojutsu and made Kurama fight for him.

-Madara was the only person other than Tobi able to summon Kurama.

-PS > Anything in Nagato's arsenal

A slash from PS sword can repel any of Nagato's Jutsu, as for Chibaku Tensei all he has to do is slash the damn thing or send some Yasaka Magatma up there, maybe even some high level Fire techniques.

The Rinnegan has been described as the God's dojutsu of this manga. A superior eye to both the Sharingan and the Byakugan. Nagato mastered the abilities which the Rinnegan grants. If you think the best of the EMS > the best of the Rinnegan then you need to re-read chapters 1 through to 601.

Nagato didnt have trouble with the 8 tails. Deva path alone had trouble with the 8 tails. Nagato > Deva Path.
