Lool, Hashirama asked for Naruto's help to attempt to defeat Madara. Edo Madara pierced Hashirama with his black rods, he simply activated them when he was revived. His trump card was Hashirama afterall so no, he wasn't near close to beat him.

As for what you said about EMS Madz, he only used PS against sage mode Hashi.
According to the information we got, it was a really close match and at the end, Madara had the oppurtiny to kill Hashi.

Madara was played by Black Zetsu. Arguably even harder than he played Obito. Get over it. It doesn't mean that he wasn't a good character. Obito's manipulation was still his, and the implementation of the plan is as well, it's just that the actual plan itself isn't.

Madara never faked his death, he actually died and revived himself.

Madara would've died there either way, if he used Izanagi at that point he would be completely exhausted of chakra and MAYBE land a killing hit on Hashirama, causing them both to die and Madara's plan to never come into fruition.

And if Hashirama went into Sage Mode at the last second Madara would've definitely died, because he could sense him and he would heal.

Lol, again with the same nonsense from when Chapter 626 came out. Hashirama killed Madara. Deal with it. Madara admitted inferiority. Deal with it. Izanagi would have been pointless and Madara was smart not be a retard and use it during the fight, and at the point where it would have been good to use it, he couldn't.

1. He couldn't even maintain his Sharingan. Lol if you think he had enough chakra to pull off Izanagi.

2. If he had done it at any point during the fight, he would have lost PS since you need both eyes for it, and he would have died a terrible death.

3. Even if he could use it, it lets him survive one strike and he's back in the same position he was at earlier. Hashirama can sense his position so Madara can't get the jump on him.

Madara really could've won If he used izanagi too catch Hashi off gaurd, he was exhausted so Madara would've won and Still had susanoo due to both eyes not being needed for it
