Is it possible for two brothers to trade eyes in order to get it?

I mean, if that worked, even if one is near blind(Itachi was and Sasuke started to) could simply trade and his bro/friend will still see with the blinded guy's eyes.

Really, the two EMS owners had donors who were dying/dead....

Is this possible in the universe? I pondered about this, and it would be nice if someone fully explains.

If you consider the logic in the anime, this would most likely work. Though wouldn't the eyes have to merge together for one to get EMS?

The theory is that the eyes merge together, effectively making two pairs of eyes into one pair, making a tradesies impossible.

Exactly. That would also explain why sasuke had to recover for a few days while Tobi and Kakashi could use transplanted eyes within minutes of their transplant.

That isn't how it works. It is kind of like the eyes combine. That is why the design of EMS is the combined designs of the MS used.

No, in order to activate the EMS your MS and your brother's MS has to merge in order to create a new eyes which are the EMS......in this case all 4 eyes has to merge with-in one person only and not the two of them.
