EMS is unique to Indra Transmission only?

I don't have the Scan but Itachi said that many people tried to gain EMS but failed.
The only time it worked was on Madara and Sasuke, Indra's trans-migrants.

Is this coincidence or was it already mentioned somewhere in DB?

I never said Itachi knew about Indra, I said Itachi mentioned that alot of people tried to gain EMS but horribly failed.

I thought that you could only get ems if you implanted your brother eyes into yours? the reason so many others failed because they were trying to take anyone's eyes they could get and not from their brother

As people said, two siblings unlocking MS is a very low probability, When you factor in that even the basic sharingan isn't guaranteed for uchiha members, Then on top of that you need knowledge on how to transplant/fuse eyes.

My guess is most of the failures resulted in people taking MS eyes that wern't their siblings/family members.

OT, I think all Uchiha that meet the requirements like awaken MS eyes, has sibling or any Uchihas that also has awaken MS eyes, Transplant his sibling eyes into his eye and then you can awaken EMS eyes

I don't think this is the case. I think that the real problem was with the eyes.

You can't take a pair of random eyes and get EMS, but you would need only the eyes of your sibling. If those cases would have really been just a 3 tomoe, they didn't need a new eye, since sharingan doesn't get blind unless you use the mangekyo.

The fact that indra himself had it should negate the possibility of uchiha not really knowing about it the mankeyo shaingan, why else wouldn't they normally unlock it?
