It would be extremely cool if Tobi was really Obito.
The anime gets more interesting this way imo.

I hope he is true Obito instead of being someone else although its not easy to believe its Obito. And Tobi is looking for peace which means that he and Naruto has got same goal and Nagato had the same goal too the only difference is that they all got different ways to achieve it, at least ways possible that they can think of.

Think with me, it would be a shame if Izuna just shows up like that... He was just a fodder and same goes to Kagami unlike Obito who had a little history in the past.

Yeah, the explanation of Obito coming back would be brutally touching to the hearts of the true fans plus the music... Can't wait to see it, I hope he went through lot of pain and suffer so it would be much more of emotional when he opens his mouth telling it.

I agree, it adds a level of psychological complexity to Tobi we wouldn't get from other characters. It affects the fans more deeply this way.

Izuna was shown only because of Madara... He grew together with Madara so he had to be shown with Madara but he was mainly the extra eye Madara needed, nothing else therefore fodder.

Yup, of course it does. If it was Izuna's body people would just say "oh, yeah that's it!" but not its a body from someone everyone knew as a Kakashi buddy.
