Yeah it was a pretty boring song, imo that was just a song for the radio. The rest of the songs will be dope.

Yeah I had to pause the middle of the song, go listen to "Rap God" and come back to finish the last verse.
The subject matter in this song is just bleh and the beat is WAYYYYYY too poppy. It just annoys me because EMINEM really doesn't have to make sounds like that to sell...he's freaking EMINEM, he's guaranteed to sell a million.

Yeah the feeling is mutual here. From the songs Em's released 2 of them sound like Recovery 2.0, another one of them sounds like a Beastie Boys type track (not bad though I liked Berzerk) and Rap God was just somehting out of this world.

How exactly is this a "revisitation" of the first Marshall Mathers LP? I get any kind of nostalgic feeling when I listen to these songs so far..

Yeah I feel the same way. When I listen to the MMLP2 I'm gonna use this track and "Survival" as my halftime to just relax and do other shit until I'm prepared to listen to the rest of the greatness that I KNOW the album will have.

Unfortunately, we will never get another TES. TES was HUGELY influenced by particular events in Em's life at that point in time, and it's unlikely those events or anything close will happen again.
