i lost my starter when it turn into a bad egg i wanted to know ways of recovering his data or cheap ways of re catching him. i thought maybe if he is in my secret hideout in my friends game i could use a cheat to catch him. but also i thought what if there is a code that lets you copy you first hall of fame team into your party. my starter was really op and not hack never lost a match and with the new game coming out his mega could come in handy can any of you guys help me find a hack to recover his data?

actual cartridge my sceptile was really op i regret leaving him in party he used to sweep teams and solo at of all the games i play no one on my team could do what he does. if you or anyone know how i can retrieve his data that would help yo.

well, unless you're down to use gameshark codes, you're out of luck. there's no way to uncorrupt the data. I'm pretty sure sceptile is gone for good.

dam i got a way to do it by catching him in my secret hideout in my friends game but i doubt he let me use it. but if there is a code even if its gameshark i use it to retrieve him. but u know any codes that can help.

I think I know the answer to this question and it's a long shot, but I might as well ask... Do you have any older version of the saved data? (if you're playing it on a GBA emulator)
If yes, then remove/disable all of the action replay codes. After that, load one of the older (working) save revisions and it should be fine.

PS: Try it at your own risk. I've had my share of action replay code problems but I used to play the games on GBA emulator, not on the actual console. So, you could lose your complete data.
