1)you can't just use a jutsu like that to absorb an A rank lightning jutsu(which you would sort of have to be touching in order to absorb
2)just because the lightning is absorbed, the water doesn't just fall to the ground.
3)I'm guessing that fire jutsu was to counter the needle attack
4)nice you jumped off the cliff, the only place where you can disappear to,especially since he has ms activated.
