Ashura inherited Juubi chakra from Hagoromo being fused with the Juubi and thanks to having Hagoromo's body he was able to control NE to the point the Six Path Senjutsu within his body bloomed. It's no different to how Ashura incarnates train hard to learn Sage Mode and unlock the full extent of their powers.


Hashirama's control of NE allowed him to use Mokuton to full extent, Naruto's control of NE allowed him to use bijuu chakra to full extent, Ashura's control of NE allowed him to do both because his descendants got their power from him.

The eye has multiple forms.Sasuke gets primal chakra and his KKG upgrades to its original form (Rinnegan)

Obitos spirit left the spirit world and entered kakashi that is why he obtained the sharingan in those final moments.

At no point in time is it ever stated or shown that Ashura had mokuton.
That is just an assumption on your part.
But once again as i described above you don't get KKG through chakra alone.
You have to have the dna/bloodline with the correct chakra

Hogos eye isn't KKG its a KKM "Kekkei Mōra" (Bloodline Encompassing)
KKG "kekeigenkai" (bloodline limit)are abilities passed down genetically


Unless something is passed down its not a bloodline its a technique/power exclusive to the user

This isn't proof of mokuton as rikudo never used mokuton and the reason why some might imply uzumaki is because what is going on in the scene is clearly a sealing technique regardless of the nature of the origin its a seal and the only clan known for seals is the uzumaki

Which later turned out to be a distant cousin of the senju anyway.
So its obvious that rikudos justu were still being taught and used and more specifically his seals were still passed down through the uzumaki

After Sasuke turned on everyone for the second time, Hagoromo remarked about how giving power to both Indra and Asura yielded the same results. Asura's bodily powers might have been awakened, but the power to fight Indra was given to him, not inherited.
