The element chart should have been a different order.

Lightning is strong against Earth in this system but it's also strong against water in practicality. Lightning shouldn't effect earth it doesn't travel through it.

The chart should go lightning->water->fire->earth->wind->lightning
Lightning conducts through water
Water extinguishes fire
Fire melts earth(lava)
Earth blocks winds
Winds disrupt lightning

Lightning can't travel through it but can shatter due to the sheer impact and violent vibrations. happens all the time especially to trees also houses (brick houses) n stuff. if you are basing the chart being wrong off irl applications then i just debunked your entire logic.

Basing it being wrong because lightning is the only nature with two advantages iirc.
