Elder Toad Sage indeed knew Hagoromo

Just clear up in case you were wondering.
So basically this chapter it confirms the Great Toad Sage knew Hagoromo.
If you didn't catch it, he mentions about the prophecy he received from "Gamamaru."

As you know, the prefix Gama is used for any toad from Mt. Myoboku.
The only toad old enough to be around there was Great Toad Sage.
Meaning he was from the Rikudo's time as many of you probably predicted

I managed to predict around the margin that each brother's prescence was sensed during the 5 kage summit arc, though I used Karin rather than Naruto.
