Well Naruto may as well be fodder now, this was basically confirmed during Naruto Gaiden when Naruto got rekt by the little radish pokemon thing and Kurama said (I may be paraphrasing here), "Yo Naruto, U the swagkage for so long U cant fight for sheet".

Sasuke on the other hand is still as b0ss as usual since he's been soul-searching for years on end. So either Sasuke is gonna be nerfed hardcore, Sasuke is off soul-searching again and then returns later to bltch slap Kawaki, or Kawaki is legit.

For all we know he could have ambushed Naruto or setup a scenario where he sent Naruto there. Wouldn't really count as a loss. I still do not see anyone normal(non-otsutsuki) defeating Naruto/Sasuke
