So madara absorbed the shinju. Apparently this gives him a powerup, even though Obito's power didn't decrease when he released it.

However, The Shinju could not give Madara a powerup, even if it had absorbed Chakra from the SA.

When Obito was defeated, the shinju Lost all it's power. If the Shinju had any power left, it would have continued to bloom.

So either Madara got no powerup because the Shinju had no power, Or the Infinite Tsukiyomi was allready cast and no one noticed.

When the Ten tails was revived it would have been revived as well.

We don't know the full story of the Shinju and these Kaguya references show that their is more to this.

The difference between Obito and Madara is that the God Tree was cut and it clearly released someone... most likely Kagyua.

I am not sure, but I believe Kagyua was imprisoned inside God Tree and God Tree was overpowering Kagyua entire time, until Naruto released her and Madara absorbed God Tree and Kagyua...

The Kagyua is key factor in increase of the power.
