well I dont know if you mean me or the actual training so i will do a little of both.Well, Waki. You've done yours, now it's just the training.
Tell me a little about what we're dealing with here.
And that's all fine and dandy, but in this 'game' the 1st Gate carries all the risks and none of the rewards of higher Gates. It's not that much of a boost and you still limit yourself severely with it, so its practical applications are few.the first gate is the gate of opening. The location of the gate is in the brain and opening that gate releases the restraints in the body particularly the muscle so they can perform at 100%. that way you could perform techniques like the front lotus, flicker evasion, strong lotus thunder chain and sky walk.
Sky Walk requires 6 Gates as far as I know. Lee couldn't do it with one, so I'm sure the rest of us can't either.Well when it comes to flicker evasion you could use it but it's only relative to the gate that's opened. With the first gate only boosting your speed to 1.5x it doesn't increase that much.
With front lotus it's a double edge sword. If performed correctly it does some damage to the opponent but at the same time it causes a lot strain on the body.
The sky walk is a little confusing to me because it says it's usable if at least one gate is open but in the description it says that 6 gates have to be opened to perform this technique. When you are able to use the technique it allows you to push off the air by condensing the air under your feet by exerting the same amount of force equivalent to your own weight to either avoid attacks or to perform an follow up attack in the air.
The last technique apparently doesn't cause a strain on the body but instead requires a chain weapon to launch the opponent before releasing a barrage of attacks to the opponent causing him to crash back onto the ground. By description it only requires on gate to be opened.
Not exactly rocket science, huh? Well, it's not supposed to be. Point is that you run faster, jump higher, maaaaaaan. Plus you punch harder. Not the biggest difference between the First and the Second and there are no 'new' abilities in it. It's the same concept from 1st to 8th, you know? Just to different degrees. When it comes to the second gate it gives the user double the speed of base speed. It also give the user strength +5 from the previous gate. Because you are pushing the body beyond its max you do gain -10 damage. That's the affects in the game.
It's called the gate of healing because it replenishes the muscle tissue in the body. The gate is also located in the brain.
You see the pattern, right? I'm going to assume that you know the numbers from 6th, 7th and 8th also ans just move on.I apologize. I think I overdid it with simplifying the description.
This gate is located in the Spinal cord, Increases the strength and speed. This gate adds +20 damage to Taijutsu and the user becomes 3x faster. User suffers -15 damage. The wound gate or the gate of pain. This gate is known and named because the muscle fibers begin to rip and tear. Run faster, jump higher hit harder and enduring more pain.
The gate of limit is located in the upper abdomen. Some would say it's above the center of the center of chakra circulation system. The strength gained from this gate adds +30 damage to Taijutsu and the speed is 3.5x faster than base. Unfortunately they endure another -15 damage. the name of the gate indicate the limit passed by the users body
I would say that the first serious practical application of the initial level is the 4th gate. my reasoning is that when it comes to speed you become 3x faster than your base speed that's a speed that Byakugan can barely track which would give you the upper hand when it comes to gentle fist user. Since i previously had a hyuga bio and was very proficient with it i could say that it opening the gates 1,2, and 3 wouldn't do much help because gentle fist users would still be faster and will react to it properly, when it comes to speed. Strength wise i say 4th gate also because it gives you +20 damage which is basically 1 rank higher when it comes to taijutsu. that would come really handy when going up against an opponent that has an advantage like the samurai who can boost their strength up to two ranks with their passive 10 they gain from kenjutsu and the active 30 they gain from activating bushido. You see the pattern, right? I'm going to assume that you know the numbers from 6th, 7th and 8th also ans just move on.
I would like your opinion on where the Gates begin to have serious practical applications: at 3rd? 7th? 1st? I'd like to hear your reasoning and feel free to support your arguments with techniques and examples.
Boom! Good response ^^I would say that the first serious practical application of the initial level is the 4th gate. my reasoning is that when it comes to speed you become 3x faster than your base speed that's a speed that Byakugan can barely track which would give you the upper hand when it comes to gentle fist user. Also at that point you could use a few EIG techniques like, flicker evasion to easily avoid damage, reverse buster, tree leaf roaring flame hurricane, extemely powerful whirlwind of the leaf, hidden lotus, one man front lotus, primary lotus, and strong lotus thunder chain. but as for the last one im not sure i will be using much since my character doesnt carry a chain.
the next would be the 6th gate. At the six gate you are basically able to travel at a speed of x4 base speed and your damage is risen to +40 which basically means that freeform technique are basically b-rank taijutsu which would be mighty powerful against anyone. also with the 6 gate open you could also use techniques like sky walk, crane wing formation, and morning peacock.
gate of wonder or the 7th gate has a significant boost compared to the other gates because it goes straight to 7x base speed and +60 damage. With this gate you are basically travelling at Dragonball z speeds and you are dishing out attacks that are A-rank just by using freeform taijutsu. With this gate you are able to use daytime tiger, which is done by moving your hands in a sequence so fast that it creates large amount of condense pressure in the air before you send it off to the opponent in the shape of a white Siberian tiger before it explodes at the opponent. that just shows how fast a person is able to move. and that's just their hands.
Certainly. Now, we'll do Daytime Tiger, Night Guy and then talk about all the Lotus attacks. First things first, though:The user then jumps into the air in a distinctive stance and begins punching the enemy repeatedly. The punches are so fast, they are set ablaze by sheer speed and friction which in turn creates a peacock-like fan of flames around the opponent. Once the attack is finished, the enemy will be sent crashing back to the ground, covered with the attack's aura. The technique is also strong enough to briefly stun a tailed beast as strong as Saiken.
Of course this is after might guy opened the gate of view or the sixth gate
Hirudora has to be used as a last resort since it leaves you vulnerable for turns after use. At the gate of wonder you are causing a significant amount of strain to the body which could be the reason to the collapsing of the user after it's use. To properly perform the technique, you have to slap your hand upon an closed fist to create a massive amount of air pressure before forming a handseal extended towards the opponent to release the air pressure in the shape of a tiger, focused at a single point which would most likely be at the front of the technique that explodes to release a lethal giant explosive cuncussive blast. The only reason this technique cost chakra is because of the Eight inner gates usage. There is no Futon chakra used on this technique. Only the speed of the hand movements and the strength it takes to create the built up pressure.Certainly. Now, we'll do Daytime Tiger, Night Guy and then talk about all the Lotus attacks. First things first, though:
(Hachimon: Hirudora) - Eight Gates: Daytime Tiger
Rank: S
Type: Attack
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 40
Damage points: 80
Description: Daytime tiger is a strong and fast attack only useable through the activation of the seventh gate. the user makes a fist in front of their face with one hand and then taps it with their other, which creates a massive amount of air pressure resembling a tiger. The user then forms a unique hand seal, which launches the tiger at the opponent. The air pressure will condense as it's moving and be focused into a single point. The technique then explodes before impact, releasing the built up air pressure in an instant. A massive concussive explosion is created which can be felt a significant distance away.
Note: Use of technique will result in the user collapsing two turns after use due to tremendous pain.
Note: Can only be used twice.
Note: Requires EIG mastery.
It shouldn't even cost chakra to use in my book, but I guess it's for balancing purposes? Overall a fine tech, one that will travel through water, as seen in the show.Hirudora has to be used as a last resort since it leaves you vulnerable for turns after use.
