Edward Snowden Hero or Traitor?

Hey there, I have a presentation about Ed Snowden tomorrow, and my last question shall start a discussion about the topic.
So do you think that Edward Snowden is a hero or a traitor? I would appreciate your input because I might use some of the pro and con arguments.

It is difficult to say in my view. I simply don't know enough to make a proper judgement, snowden could be a heroic person who revealed the truth or a pawn of the powers that be to toy with the feelings and thoughts of ordinary people.

Given that my only way of knowing of snowden is through media accessible to the public, I can't draw any conclusions since the sources are not objective.

Honestly he is pretty f*ckin stupid. He worked with the NSA so im sure he had a well developed sense that once something is on the internet its literally everywhere. With that being said even if he was giving the info to the people in reality he gave it to everybody at the same time. He seems to be using it as a copout to why he did it but it doesn't negate the fact that he did do it and the fact that anyone from any country or association now has that knowledge and sh*t if you think the american government is bad there is always someone or something worse out there. Imagine what they could do with that info and strategies.....

He's a legend. A hero. The filthy NWO thought they could get away with their treason against the people. Anyone who thinks this guy is a traitor between read the files again

Objectively a traitor.

Look at everything that happened afterwards. He showed everyone what the government was willing to do to "protect" us. But in the end the majority of people are against it. He's a hero in my opinion because he gave up his life to speak the truth.

Portrayed as a traitor by America, portrayed as a hero for Europe but secretly a hero for America. He just played into their hands.
