IF you know the seal to release EDO like Madara did and he controls himself now....Does that mean he summons himself and would sealing him even work now that he is the contract holder... or would he have to be put under a genjutsu to reverse it. both would probably work

.And if so Why didn't he just do that in the First place...he said he was gonna be brought back by nagato ......wouldn't EDo be a better way to be brought back to life. any one fill me in on the details

If he releases himself he goes away and can't re summon

I guess he preffered to be a human being, but took the advantage that he had. Also, he was too prideful to lose to the Kage.

It is also good to note he didn't break the contract because he was given full control the whole time....had he been threatened to loosing his control he would've broken the contract.
