I would like to point out that Katsuyu said Tsunade will be... which indicates Tsunade is still alive.
Furthermore if Katsuyu were still in use, she would have been busy and thus unavailable for summoning.
Finally Orochimaru's words suggest she's alive.
My guess she's old and wrinkly right now but intact.
