Why the hell was the Edo Tensi in part one different than in part 2?

Probably since it was improved upon in the time since we saw orochimaru use it during part one. That would be my guess.

Kishimoto drew it different this time around and in the anime the animation team is probably not the same anymore.

As an anime gets more money and better equipment then the overall look of things become better looking. To make up for this difference, the manga explains it as different versions such as Kabuto's being the stronger one. The recent manga chapters will incorporate Kabuto's version into Orochimaru's version although his is probably supposed to be the same it was. But hey I don't write the manga so....

Then why is the Edo Tensi that Orchimaru uses now the same as Kabutos?
