Edo tensi ninja are limited to the power they had alive?

The title say it all.

I basically mean if a fodder ninja like Iruka die and ressurected by edo tensi,Iruka can still get to learn or use more jutsu than when he was alive or their power retricted to when they die?
Madara had ems, rinnegan,wood release,senju dna and live for around before he die.Madara in edo tensi form have a large spectrum of powers.
Hashirama was wood release variation skills before he die.Do u think he can develop more jutsu in edo tensi form or it restricted to when he die?
This goes for other edo tensi ninja

Has to be restricted to when he dies or that is easily the most broken jutsu in this manga.

It's already pretty broken, but that is just insane. I think it's just what you had before you died.

I feel that alot of the edos are restricted to the jutsu they knew when they died. However, some edos (Madara) obviously gain new abilities due to the senju DNA that was put in.

Most likely not. The reason is that even if you have knowledge on learning new Ninjutsu, you don't have the physical body that is alive to take in and allow those powers to be part of your abilities. Your physical body has to get use to the new powers/ninjutsu. When you are an Edo, you are just simply a dust with a soul that is assimilated in a sacrificed body.

Madara's case is that he obtained Hashirama's cells and has most likely learned to use some of Hashi's techs he copied from their previous fights; the same thing goes for his Rinnegan.

im inclined to think they can learn new jutsu, similar to how goku trained when he was dead. So im inclined to think that yes they could train TECHNIQUES, but they would still be limited to the same body they had when they were dead(so lee and guy as edos could not get any stronger, because their body is stuck at the time of death, while a ninjutsu user could learn new ninjutsu.

With edo tensi the shinobi have an unlimited amount of chakra and they can't learn new jutsu, it was stated that madara was a special summoning so you can't use him as an example to say that edo shinobi are able to develop new skills!!
