Ownership on a skill is a very relative concept. Would you be prepared to go further down this logic and say that every shinoby who relys on techniques not created by them is weak?

For example how many shinobi make their own kunais? How many use Summonings? How many gather chakra from others? Is Kisame's Samehada his or do you consider it to be from someone else, considering he stole it from the previous owner?

Ownership is a very vague concept in what relates to the shinobi world. In the words of Kakashi; if you can use it, then it's yours.

That makes kakashi a hypocryt, due to shifting what he was saying from the concept of ownership to the concept of theft.
He's not using their bodies, he's binding them through talismans, he doesn't own their bodies, control or not.

i think it shows a lack of honor in the user but the jutsu itself is quite powerful and useful. i mean look at all the trouble it has caused in naruto, you can have an almost immortal army at your command

whenever the tech has been in use, that ninja has dominated. kabuto scared obito into an alliance with a flick of his wrist. oro killed the god of shinobi. kabuto made this war non onesided by himself. it took another entire army to bring down kabuto's armada. the reason why either kabuto or oro ever lost in a fight was because they didnt have edos at the time.

all of them as far as we know werent using edos on the opponents who beat them. 2nd hokage declared it forbbidden and never used it when he died. wiht a flick of his wrist kabuto could have summoned madara to fight uchiha bros.
