i'm not sure it's going to end at all. having itachi indirectly beat madara is a bit of a letdown don't you think? forcing kabuto to relinquish control of madara, or kabuto revealing that he can't cancel edo tensei himself, that's more likely imo.

plus, knowing kishi he will switch back to another battle right before the good stuff

It'd be a good defense against Genjutsu, since casting a genjutsu and making Kabuto end his Edo Tensei wouldn't necessarily end the Edo of his Edo.

Kabuto knows enough about messing with the Uchiha to know that he probably needs multiple defenses against Genjutsu.

His ass-snake is probably not going to be enough if he clashes against a super genjutsu, hence the need for his edo tensei's to have edo tensei.

As an aside... it'd be pretty awesome if Kabuto made it so he'd auto ressurect into Anko some how, but i don't see how that will happen.

Aren't you forgetting something?? Like that scroll Suigetsu found that could change the outcome of this war??? There are many other secrets to be revealed after that too.. Tobi is still going to be the main villian even if Edo-Tensei doesn't end so.. xd

maybe two chapters because the genjutsu is easy to set but we don't if kabuto's bad blood will change anything xd
